Episode 231 - Still Filler?

HeY!
I saw on wikipedia there is episode 231, i want to know something, Is this still a filler episode?

Never trust Wikipedia, it's usually wrong. You just have to wait until it's released and that won't be for another 3 weeks at least.

ok. But if its a filler, Studio Pierrot waste time to make really cool animation in next episode(Original Naruto story). I hate fillers!

So? These fillers are helpful for the viewer to know how Naruto got from the Land of Fire to the Land of Lightning. If he just somehow ended up in the Land of Lightning after the end of the episode before the fillers started, it would look very odd and would make it seem as if he teleported himself there. It also releases the tensions of the previous two major arcs where several things have happened.

Actually, its list of upcoming episodes is usually consistent with the episodes that do come out, and for that matter Wikipedia's list only grants episode titles with summaries being made after the episode has aired.
