I hate you Activision! No one should ever have to pay 110 dollars plus tax for the full package of 1 game. When did this become expectable? To make things worst CoD isn't even a top 5 game of the holiday season. They just find new ways to screw over all there millions and millions of fans.

No more, I say! You will never again see my money! I will rent MW3 from gamefly for 7$ a month (love gamefly) and buy Battlefield 3!

(End of short but important rant)

I thought the game cost around sixty bucks, as usual.

Are you perhaps mixing this up with the hardened edition or something? If not, then I'm outraged. Screw Call of Duty, to Battlefield 3!

Buy full package I mean the actual game cost 60$ but in addition with the map packs that cost at least 15$ each as they do with all CoD games. They leave almost half the maps out so they may release them as DLC.

Now they have something called Call of Duty Elite that cost 50$ a year, that gives you all the DLC and features people won't get with the regular game. Members of CoD Elite still must buy the game in addition to the 50$ a year.

Proof? Never heard of this.

Even if itis true I will pre order it then. The overall price stays the same. I'm not upset at CoD having DLC it's the crazy price for it. No other games charge 15$ for each piece of DLC, no game I know even charges 10$ and most don't go over 5$. I don't know what they think they have in CoD but it's not nearly one of the best games so it shouldn't be charged the most.

Buy the Hardened Edition. You get more cool crap plus Elite for one year free. It's a twenty dollar extra, but in exchange for over sixty bucks of content? Deal.

What I assume you/your friend are referring to is the pre order bonus. It's an expansion pack, it gives you 4 maps from Battlefield 2. This seems like a great deal to me. Pre ordering is 5$ and they take that 5$ off the price when you go to pay for it.

Around fifteen percent of it is free. That accounts to having a profile and being able to join clans. Which by the way, was and has been free.

It's been that way for years, since World at War. Map packs always sold for fifteen.

Don't you think that is bad. Think about Black ops for example. If you brought all the map packs that is equal to the price you payed for the game it self.

Of course it's bad, it's capitalizing.

In some cases, it could be more. Which is why if you're going to look for all of the map packs, purchase the hardened edition.
