APPROVED CHARACTERS ARE MOVED TO THE SECOND POST

PRP will be an RP because we want people to actually work like trainers in getting their pokemon to evolve, buying items, and just doing whatever happens in the Pokemon world. This is a FRP. FRP stands for free roleplay. You can do pretty much whatever tickles your fancy. Just don't be an idiot.

Each person will have to fill out a template for their character. You will start off with any pokemon, 4 moves for each pokemon, and $500 starting cash. Pokemon WILL start in first evolution. Throughout this verse you will have to compete with the other trainers in order to gain money, catch new pokemon, and overall become the best trainer you can. You can have up to six pokemon in your party at once. If you obtain more than six, you must keep one or more of them in the PC. You may switch pokemon from your box to your party anytime at a Pokemon Center.

Pokemon:
You will be able to have any pokemon you want, as long as it's not a legendary. In the series, no one has control over a legendary pokemon because they are far too powerful, so you won't be able to catch one here. Don't be bummed, there are still many choices left! But maybe, by a certain event, you may get a lesser legendary. IN ORDER TO CATCH POKEMON YOU MUST SEND THE POKEMON WITH FILLED OUT MOVES AND ABILITY YOU WANT TO ME AND I WILL PROBABLY APPROVE IT.

Moves: You may give your pokemon any move AS LONG as it is able to be learned by said pokemon. Like Ditto. It can't learn any other move except transform. Or Venasaur. It can't learn fire punch or Spacial Rend, or ect.

Evolution:
Evolving pokemon often takes hard work and patience, that won't be different in this verse. To feel like a trainer, you must work like a trainer. Each pokemon will start out in first evo. and in order to move the pokemon to the next stage, you must spend a set amount of Evo. Points on it. Second evo. will need 10 EP and third evo. will take 15 EP. You earn 1 evo point to use however you wish when you defeat an opponents pokemon. Once a pokemon evolves, it gets an entirely new moveset completely up to you, as long as that pokemon can learn the desired moves.

Pokemon Bank:
This is just the section of the template that holds any pokemon that make you go beyond 6. You will be able to swap pokemon out at your request in order to help try and evolve them all.

Money:
Each person will start out with $500. This will be used to buy your way into a gym battle, or some other things we have yet to think up. To gain money, you must wager a certain amount in each battle. You will win or lose money in every battle you fight, so be weary! You and your opponent must wajor the same amount. If you run out of money, you will have to return to MiniRoot town, and get $200 from your parents/guardians.

PokeShop:
This will be the shop that houses everything in the verse. After collecting money through battling, you may purchase anything from pokeballs to healing items to rare artifacts.

Badges:
Ranking yourself among trainers by gaining badges is the best and easiest way to do it. By unlocking badges, you place yourself on a higher tier of trainers and also allow yourself to be set on a path that leads you to becoming a Pokemon Master. In order to gain a badge, you must battle a gym leader. In order to take this test, you must pay a certain amount of money.

Your Template: To make sure you know where you're at, we want you to update your template as much as possible. Update badges, pokemon, PC, cash, and ect.

Battles: When two users want to battle, there will have to be a judge present. The judge will act as a gamemaster, of sorts. Said judge will use numerical values to see how the battle will advance. Below, I have some numerical values that will effect how hard or easy a pokemon can battle.

At the pokemon center, you heal your pokemon for free. At PokeMarts, you can buy multiple items.
Fishing Rod - $100
Any Stone/Evolution Item - $150
Extra Move for a pokemon(up to two per pokemon) - $150
Pokeballs (Pack of 10) - $150

Healing Items:
Potion: Heals 35 health. $25
Super Potion: Heals 70 health. $65
Hyper Potion: Heals 160 health. $110
Revive: Revives a pokemon with half of normal health. $65
Max Revive: Revives and fully heals a pokemon. $130
Sacred Ash: Fully revives and heals all pokemon in party. $400

Battle Items:
Elemental Gem: The first move used of this type deals 10 extra damage. $15
Charcoal: Fire moves do 20 more damage. $40
Barbed Wire: Steel moves do 15 more, user takes 10 less from all non-steel moves. Only Equipable to steel types. $40
Thorn Bush: Once contact is made, 10 damage is delt to the opponent. Only equipable to Grass and Poison types. $25
Crystal Ball: Effects always happen. Only equipable to Psychic types. One per team. $55
Black Belt: Fighting type moves do 15 more damage, punching and kicking moves do 10 more. $50
Atlantis Ribbon: User heals 15 health each turn. Only equipable to Water Types. $50
Aura Of Power: The enemy deals 10 less damage and takes 10 more damage until the user switches out. Only equipable to dark types. $45
Intangibility: Auto-Dodge one move, twice per match. One per team. Only equipable to ghost types. $50
Eruptor: Add 10 fire damage to any fire, or ground move. Only equipable to fire or ground types. $35
Wonder Root: 1/2 damage delt is stolen and added to the users health. Like Giga Drain. Only equipable to Grass types. $60
Freezer: Disable one enemy pokemons move before the battle. Only equipable to ice types. $60
Wings of Ho-Oh: Start the battle with 35 more health. Only equipable to flying types. $55
Dragon Master: Disables all water, fire, grass, and electric moves until the user switches out. Only equipable to dragon types. $70
Piercer: Defenses are ignores for the opponent. Only equipable to rock types. $60

I assume TM moves are considered okay then if Extremespeed Dratini is allowed.

and when can we change our moveset? I don't know if I want to keep these moves, but I would like to try them out.

Just make things up in the miniroot thread. We are suppose to say bye to everyone. So I guess a few tips would to include what pokemon you get, saying bye to your mommy or just copying the pokemon show in some way. xDD

Pool Special Jonin Candidate Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: >.> Posts: 9,908 Rep Power: 17 Member's Picture Albums	Pokemon Roleplay APPROVED CHARACTERS ARE MOVED TO THE SECOND POST PRP will be an RP because we want people to actually work like trainers in getting their pokemon to evolve, buying items, and just doing whatever happens in the Pokemon world. This is a FRP. FRP stands for free roleplay. You can do pretty much whatever tickles your fancy. Just don't be an idiot. Each person will have to fill out a template for their character. You will start off with any pokemon, 4 moves for each pokemon, and $500 starting cash. Pokemon WILL start in first evolution. Throughout this verse you will have to compete with the other trainers in order to gain money, catch new pokemon, and overall become the best trainer you can. You can have up to six pokemon in your party at once. If you obtain more than six, you must keep one or more of them in the PC. You may switch pokemon from your box to your party anytime at a Pokemon Center. Template: Username: Character Name: Evolution Points: Pokemon 1: Ability: Move1: Move2: Move3: Move4: Money: $500 PC: Badges: Extra's: Pokemon: You will be able to have any pokemon you want, as long as it's not a legendary. In the series, no one has control over a legendary pokemon because they are far too powerful, so you won't be able to catch one here. Don't be bummed, there are still many choices left! But maybe, by a certain event, you may get a lesser legendary. IN ORDER TO CATCH POKEMON YOU MUST SEND THE POKEMON WITH FILLED OUT MOVES AND ABILITY YOU WANT TO ME AND I WILL PROBABLY APPROVE IT. Moves: You may give your pokemon any move AS LONG as it is able to be learned by said pokemon. Like Ditto. It can't learn any other move except transform. Or Venasaur. It can't learn fire punch or Spacial Rend, or ect. Evolution: Evolving pokemon often takes hard work and patience, that won't be different in this verse. To feel like a trainer, you must work like a trainer. Each pokemon will start out in first evo. and in order to move the pokemon to the next stage, you must spend a set amount of Evo. Points on it. Second evo. will need 10 EP and third evo. will take 15 EP. You earn 1 evo point to use however you wish when you defeat an opponents pokemon. Once a pokemon evolves, it gets an entirely new moveset completely up to you, as long as that pokemon can learn the desired moves. Pokemon Bank: This is just the section of the template that holds any pokemon that make you go beyond 6. You will be able to swap pokemon out at your request in order to help try and evolve them all. Money: Each person will start out with $500. This will be used to buy your way into a gym battle, or some other things we have yet to think up. To gain money, you must wager a certain amount in each battle. You will win or lose money in every battle you fight, so be weary! You and your opponent must wajor the same amount. If you run out of money, you will have to return to MiniRoot town, and get $200 from your parents/guardians. PokeShop: This will be the shop that houses everything in the verse. After collecting money through battling, you may purchase anything from pokeballs to healing items to rare artifacts. Badges: Ranking yourself among trainers by gaining badges is the best and easiest way to do it. By unlocking badges, you place yourself on a higher tier of trainers and also allow yourself to be set on a path that leads you to becoming a Pokemon Master. In order to gain a badge, you must battle a gym leader. In order to take this test, you must pay a certain amount of money. Your Template: To make sure you know where you're at, we want you to update your template as much as possible. Update badges, pokemon, PC, cash, and ect. Battles: When two users want to battle, there will have to be a judge present. The judge will act as a gamemaster, of sorts. Said judge will use numerical values to see how the battle will advance.
