>.< I had this idea in math class today, just the basics, but I wasn't able to remind myself I made it until now. Okay, so I have an idea that is innovative like no other, it just needs...resources
What they would need -A REALLY good composer like Koji Kondo, but I'd LOVE to see Joe Hasashi, but alas, he only does movies, even though all his music is probably the best I've ever heard, and some good for a video game -People from the pre-2005 era of gaming -.... The basic Idea: So the most basic thing I can say about this is, well, you envision it, it's a Legend of Zelda type of game, but with RPG insides. The battle are run into in a field like in (earlier) Tales games and such, the battle system is real time like OoT or TP, but no real powers other than equipped. They would have to get very innovative with the items and powers if they didn't want it to look like a LoZ clone. Anyway, the story is a little cheesy. The world is run by music, everything works by music, almost all functions. The game works with you playing different instruments in different ways (I know, I know, OoT) through stuff you do and the way you do it. Battles are according to music, there are 6 battle musics, each hold different attack moves and rates of attack with it made so that it can switch up and stuff (An Okami-like thing to be done), so if you're fighting a monster at music 1 vs 5 it's different, and the variety of monsters gives you variety for quite a while, not to mention it switches off. The main ideal of the game is music, so once again, it must be AMAZING (which is WAY too rare these days). However, the makers would have to try to not overcheese it. The main bad guy is a guy aiming for the core of the world to delete the music, and this means HE makes the music in the world, meaning he controls it if he gets to it. Your music can do the same on a smaller scale of course and so on. In the end I think this is a good concept that would be great IMO. PS: Feel free to add anything to this list
