This is a really short summary of a interview Kishimoto gave recently:

Translation was done by takL at NF.

- Naruto's voice actor teased Kishi about his "Year of Kakashi" comment at last year's Jump Festa.
- Kishi apologized and said Kakashi would play a much bigger role in 2011.
- Shikamaru and Choji(!) will play important and heroic parts in the war. (I guess the Fourth Division will get major spotlight.)
- Nothing on Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura. Naruto's voice actor didn't even ask about him.
- Kishi explained the Kakashi part. He planned big things for him this year, but they will pass over to 2011.
- He has been planning a lot for the last year. (I guess he means the war.)
- Weird sequence. Naruto's voice actor says something about dreams coming true and Kishi that will be true with Choji. (Maybe there will be a better translation for this. Choji had dreams?)

He's redirecting that for 2011.

Oh, thanks! I hadn't even heard about that.

I'm excited about Shikamaru's big part. Not so much on Choji's..I don't really like him at all.

Since when does he have dreams, anyway?

I'm honestly glad that Kakashi gonna play I big oart, but hasn't he already done that? Without him, Naruto wouldn't of turned out the way he was, and Sasuke wouldn't know half the techniques he does, so technically, Every year of Naruto has been Kakashi's Year, but he could easily play a bigger role, which is what is in store for us this year.
