hey, i don't mean to be snobbish or anything, but i think i deserve a a custom rank ... i'm one of the only ones that actually tries to contribute to being the antagonist in this thread and i was like the first antagonist here. it's alright if you don't think i deserve one, but if you do can it be major antagonist or something? i'm open to suggestions, and as i said its alright if you don't think i deserve one

i have an idea for some custom ranks:

forum ally: the one who has the most friends and was able to keep it that way for at least 6 months

forum enemy: the one with the most enemies and was able to keep it that way for at least 6 months

forum sage: the person that's been able to give the most advice

well, here they are and i hop you consider them ...

I don't think there should be set ranks like that. If the mods come out and say that there's ranks for having the most friends, etc, people will just fight over it. Plus, what happens if one person gets the rank and then later another person surpasses them? Mainly just the fighting over it thing, though. These ranks should just be given as the mods see fit.

Exactly. With the exception of declaring it a reward for an event, have rewards like "most friends" only encourages in-fighting.

Perhaps if a person has like 30% of his posts in a certain section and is helpful but is not overall active enough to become a jounin? That would mean it would be an awarded rank...

Edit: To all those proposing sannin and kage, how many should we have? or should it just be "as many as earn it?" It seems odd to me having 7 sannins or 12 kage's.

what if for special jonin, you achieved it by helping in a specific part of the forum, like war rules, being in the anbu, or having high quality posts? that way people would have to work and not just post random one liners to get higher than chunin, it would get more people to post quality posts with meaning.

maybe for the top three, you have to placed there by a mod because they think you deserve it, for things such as being a good kage for your vvillage, being fair in battles, and the like

im not saying you should add this all but i think some are good to get cuz the more the merrier.. im really enjoying this forums because of its level system..

I think a lot of ranks is better as it can make you feel that you are progressing faster.
