Water and Fire=Duo beam you get burnt and frozen.

like alot of other people have said wind and lightning element so much you can do with that combo. concussive strikes, electrically changed wind attacks, storm shields, aoe hurricane taser blast ( concussive blast with an electrical discharge that stuns )

plasma jutsu: lightning and fire. causes any heat/ fire attack to burn with super heat. plasma burst : a concussive blast with a napalm fire effect.

steel skin jutsu: earth + fire. can form a steel coating on user as a defense. flechette spray: forms a blast cone of small arrow shaped darts, molten ball : a sphere of super heated molten steel, adheres like napalm and continues to burn.

The freedom and versatility that Mokuton grants is enough for me, I'm go with Water and Earth.

I wonder if combining wind and fire you could make a kind of plasma blade or something that would be awesome

Or whatever elements it takes to do shadow jutsu use them in a way to make black/shadow fire Shadow Fist! Would be a darn cool jutsu

EDIT I just thought for that first one maybe lightning and fire would be better I was going by the basis that wind makes fire stronger, either or could theoreticaly work though I suppose
