All y'all has gots to stop the LIES!
You're all thinking that because you suspected Ginjo of being evil that you figured it all out. No you didn't. You didn't figure out anything. You got lucky. Because the fact of the matter is that Ginjou actually WAS Good. Assuming if what is said in 458 is all true then when Ginjo and Ichigo were chilling and training and being best buds forever, Ginjo was in fact on Ichigo's side. All you peeps who said "Ginjo's evil" were thinking that Ginjo was just acting. He wasn't. Ginjo thought he was good because in a sense he WAS good. Just like Orihime IS friends with Tsukishima. It's an alternate reality created by Tsukishima's Fullbring. Unless you figured out that Ginjo was under Tsukishima's spell and that his true self was evil then you didn't figure out anything. Really for all we know Tsukishima may have only cut Ginjo once (to make him an ally) and Ginjo's usual manipulative personality has him saying all this stuff about actually being bad because that's how his personality is. But that's probably not so. You didn't figure it out. You got trolled.

True. Ginjo's taking a page out of the oldest book of tricks; If you want to make a good bluff, mean it. The best possible way that Ginjo could've made Ichigo and Xcution believe he was on their side was to actually be on their side, and Book of the End was the only way to do that.
So yes, I doubt anyone predicted that specifically and distinctly, even if they had a feeling Ginjo was really a bad guy. |

When I first saw Ginjou...without a doubt I knew he was a villain but overtime Kubo try to make it seem he was a good(although he sorta was) and after he took the blow from Tsukishima I was convinced he was good.
Kubo trolled me and Ichigo pretty good.

actions point to him being evil because he wasn't evil then he was good. But now that he's changed back to normal he is evil. Kubo trolled majorly. It saddened me to see Ginjo evil but I have to give props.

The ingeniousness of the troll is that Ginjo sacrificed himself to take a hit for Ichigo, and Tsukishima's ability affects someone when they're hit. At that point, no one could've said Ginjo was evil, even though he was, even though he wasn't, so even though the reveal itself is nothing new, it was done in a way that made it unpredictable.

I am liking this way more than Aizen hypnotizing Soul Society.
Now to Tsukishima being the good Guy.

But I did like Aizen hypnotizing Soul Society. I think the reason I like Bleach so much is because I actually enjoy the trolling. It's just fun to be like "KUUUUUUUUUUUUBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOO!!!" If Kubo manages to make Tsukishima into a good guy...he will be a GOD!

There's nothing more boring in a story than simplicity and predictability. Bleach's "Troll moments" make the story less predictable since there's always the possibility the story could go in a direction that you never thought of. After all, the biggest candidates to beat Aizen were Shinji, Toshiro, Yama, Urahara, and Ichigo, and once everyone got beat you would've thought it'd be Ichigo, but it ended up being Urahara anyways.
I like this chapter even beyond the troll, and I want the arc to last a little longer because of the twist. See, many people have compared this to Gin and Aizen, but the difference I see here is that this is a partnership, and Gin was taking orders from Aizen while feigning loyalty. At least, I hope it's a partnership, because it'd be a nice change of pace. It'd mean that Bleach has main villains and not a main villain, which automatically makes it anyone's guess which one Ichigo beats and who beats the other one. Of course, Isshin and Urahara could come in and beat them both, but that would make Ginjo's villainy short-lived and it wouldn't give us any great opportunity to learn what this entire charade was for. I do feel like there's more to their plan than just collecting Fullbrings and Soul Reaper powers, so I hope that the arrival of Urahara and Isshin isn't the true end of it, because then it makes it seem brief where it feels like it shouldn't be. |
