What makes the crew so special it's their distinctive personalities. I don't think the crew needs more comic relief members. If you think about it each member offer a "sentiment" to the crew's personality. The majority offer laughter. Robin adds culture and obscurity to the crew's personality. Chopper offers cutness and innocence. Sanji and Franky give pevertedness (in two different contexts). Zoro offers determination and hardness. Nami gives angrinessand so on.




You may see Robin with the 'personality of a rock', but her persona actually contributes for the enlargement of the group's (overall) personality. Decken wouldn't offer anything apart from more stupidity.

No, she is just awful. It like she is there but isn't. Horrible character. But Decken is evil. Who on the crew is evil? none. That is what they need.

Decken is a fail attempt of a villain compared with previous ones. He's just as evil as Buggy is.

The crew may not have wannab...er...I mean members with evil intentions, but Robin is very possible the only crewmate who can potray the role of a villain better than anyone else in the crew, since she was originally introduce as an antogonist.

I have this feeling that Fishmen Island will end up getting major demolished but that isn't surprising its One Piece, sh*t goes down sh*t gets demolished plus Luffy and his crew has a tendency to wreak major havoc when they fight baddies.

I mean Madam Shirley's prediction.

A huge ass ship on its way to the Fishmen Island like a missle.

This might top even what Whitebeard did to the Marine HQ Island.

I have nothing againts I infact love it when major damage happens that is one of the 4 reasons why I got into One Piece.

Of course Fishman Island will be complety and utterly destroyed. I'd be surprised if not. Wherever Luffy and his crew puts their feet on, it's guaranteed to be destroyed.

@Wooster: What about her butt? If I recall correctly, you admited to be more like an @$$ man rather than a boobs man.

Robin's pink sari-like skirt emphasizes her butt and it's quite hard not to notice her feminine curves.

Nonsense. She's got personality. Perhaps you just never noticed.


1. Her introduction. She sneaks on board the Going Merry and introduces
herself to the straw hat crew as the person who allegedly killed Igaram.
She offers a log pose to the crew even though they were then enemies.
I'm also pretty sure she stole Luffy's hat for a moment to demonstrate her powers of the Flower Flower Devil Fruit (and then she returns it I think?)

Anywho that shows she's

Mischievous
Manipulative
Daring (she went up against the entire crew essentially)
Confident (she didn't seem the least bit worried of getting killed.)

2. Later in the Alabasta Arc. While everyone else follows Sir Crocodiles's
orders, Nico Robin does her own thing. She doesn't get upset except
when Sir Crocodile calls her by her actual name of Nico Robin.
Later she repeatedly refuses to let Luffy save her (though he does anyways.) and as "payback" for letting her live she joins the crew.
Also she wants to find the "true history" ponegraphs or whatever.

So she's...

Introverted
Rebellious
Aloof
Ambitious
Stubborn

and she has a bit of a death wish.

Then there's the whole CP-9 arc where she lets herself be arrested without telling the rest of the strawhats so they don't get involved but when
they do and Luffy convinces her she lets them save her.

Here she is

Considerate (she didn't want the others to get hurt)
Again very stubborn
Guarded
Pessimistic (she assumes the worst)

Also this arc shows how she's not very "showy" of her emotions.

Though probably the reason she doesn't seem like she has much
personality is because she's been getting less panel time and
is becoming more "just there" now. She's not like Luffy or
Usopp where they only need a panel or two to show their
personality. But nowadays that's all she seems she gets.

You can say you don't like her personality but to say
she has no personality well then..you haven't been reading
your One Piece very well then.
