One Piece 632 Discussion

It's out.

I don't care for the new development of Hody Jones being the one to kill Otohime. It should have stayed being a human so there was that fishman vs human conflict. But now it's too simple. Hody Jones is the bad guy. Luffy
beats him up and everyone is happy.

Oda hurry this arc up.

I FREAKIN KNEW IT!!!!

I had a feeling in my gut that human was taking orders and her assassination was all staged and Hodi being the culprit isn't that shocking why bc is basically like the only person who would do although I was thinking Vander Decken bc of how the beginning of the chapter where she died started with Vander Decken plotting to get Shirahoshi.

I thought it was a great chapter this week.

I wonder how Shirahoshi know that Hodi was the real killer?

How will Luffy destroy the giant ship now headed towards Fishman Island?

Oh and does anyone know why the new chapters are out a day early?

Ugh, at least we didn't have to watch the Princes seem to win then lose. I am glad that was off panel, but yuck. I think we need to see every member of the crew fight one of the henchmen. This may take a while...

At least Decken makes it a little amusing. He threw a massive ship at her.

I admit I didn't know it was Hody Jones as the mastermind.
But I don't find it very surprising. It's like finding out that
Madara was the one who sent Nine Tails after the village.

Dunno. Probably a hunch. Or she knows him well enough.
I'm guessing she considers Hody Jones a friend of some sort

Yes. If Luffy has to fight one of the big bad I hope it's Vander Decken
instead of Hody Jones because I don't really care to see Luffy vs
Arlong Wannabe again. Either Hody Jones vs Chopper or vs Usopp.

How?

If the prediction comes true then Hodi will have established an new kingdom just for Luffy and his crew to destroy it with that ship playing its part. Then the people of Ryuugu Kingdom can start all over anew with Hodi and his men gone.

Not so much that Hody would take over but that Luffy would be justified
in destroying fishman island. I mean Luffy isn't exactly a villain.

Wow I always figured that Luffy would end up destroying the kingdom and he and his crew will be banished and Hodi and Decken makes their next move and as a last act of redemption Luffy and co. foils his plan and gains everyone's respect.

The StrawHat Pirates haven't appeared for the third straight week in a row. The manga feels different with their absence. -__-

At least we're approaching the climax of the arc, so I believe they'll be making an appearence next chapter, since all the settings are prepared for their arrival.

I wonder if the Tamatebako (the box with the powers to age someone) will actually make an appearance. It most certainly will, otherwise Oda wouldn't waste his time mentioning it. If Shirahoshi were to join the crew, then the Tamatebako would fulfill its purpose: it would age Shirahoshi to the point she'd be capable to divide her tail in two and walk on land without any casualities. It wouldn't solve her size problem, though.

She would be a terrible addition to the crew.
She's apparently not that strong and she's annoying.

Nobody from this arc deserves to be the 10th strawhat.

I'm just stating a possibility. I never said she would join the crew. Could you think of any other use for the Tamatebako, then?

Besides being strong or annoying aren't valid reasons. There are big gaps between the members of crew regarding their power. And also her character's personality depends on a person's taste: although you may find her annoying, others may not.
