One Piece Chapter 631

Better than last week's.

Hodi undergoes a transformation. The three Princes arrive to Gyoncorde Plaza and kick the Sea Kings' a$$. They then engage fight with Hodi's henchmen. Jinbe and Princess Shirahoshi head to Gyoncorde Plaza.

Thoughts?

One Piece was great before the whole rescue Ace thing. A lot of fans seem to have forgotten that.

i know one piece was great before the ace rescue thing ever since the ace rescue arc started we haven't seen much of anyone else until the time skip

Maybe this is arc is about to be done soon. Okay fine, maybe the beginning of the end with about 20 chapters of battle after battle.

Does Jinbei or anyone knows of madame Shirley's prediction?

Also, where is Madam Shirley?

Will her prediction ever come true?

If so will it prolong this arc or end it with Luffy destroying the entire fishmen island?

Where is Luffy? I guess he must be back at that temple or whatever it is?

Jinbei must be going to the Palace to either

A. Rescue Luffy crewmate so Luffy won't do nothing rash

B. Deal with Hodi Jones

C. Both

I believe Jinbei knows, since most of the citizens on Fishman island seem to know.

Hodi Jones is a lame villain. He's a Roid Ragin' Arlong wannabe. But at least
with Arlong he seemed like a threat to Luffy and how he abused Nami which helped to establish her character made him a true blue villain. And now recently with the flashback we finally see his side of the story. But Hodi Jones is just dumb. He's like the Sasuke of the Fishmen, he follows in
the footsteps of the wrong guy in his path of "revenge" and in the process
betrays everyone who ever gave bothered to care about him. Luffy has
beaten up plenty of super strong villains so it's not the least bit threatening. The only reason Hodi Jones is able to get away with being
a lame excuse for a villain is because Jinbei is being a wuss and not
letting Luffy beat the crap out of Hodi Jones. To hell with not wanting
to cause more hate with humans again. If you're so concerned Jinbei
then stop wasting time talking to Luffy and go knock some sense
into Hodi Jones. It's like how Jinbei was too much of a wuss to stop
Arlong but at least he had the excuse of Arlong sorta being his ally
and with the death of Fisher Tiger. The Fisher Tiger flashback
was good but still it was like "ok let's get to the action" but now
we return to more lame sauce. And was anyone else annoyed
when Jinbei and Luffy didn't fight? Man, that would have been a cool
battle. But instead we just get one punch and they were obviously
holding back. Lame. I hope Zolo and friends hurry up and get out of
jail because they really need to just demolish Hodi Jones and his crew.
I want Hodi Jones to taste cement and I want it done in two chapters
because I'm not caring to go into the whole "BUT NOW I'M EVEN STRONGER!" nonsense that I'm sure will occur until Luffy just wails
on him after Hodi Jones becomes the size of a house. This arc
would have been better if Hodi Jones died when Zolo cut him.

Pretty much. Sad how Bleach is somehow better than One Piece now.

I wish this was like the Foxxy arc. Sure he was weak and you knew Luffy could easily wail on him, but it was hilarious.

I think what Oda should do in this arc is use
it to make the other straw hats look cool.

Hodi Jones is not worth Luffy's time.

Have him fight Chopper.

Chopper vs Hodi Jones would be like animal vs animal both with bad pasts with humans. But Usopp would be cool because it would be brute strength vs sniping and strategy.

Honestly, I think if they were worried about another fishman/human relationship bust, they could just have the non-Human Straw Hats (Frankie, Chopper & Brooke) fight Jones' crew and have Jinbei fight Hodi. If Jinbei loses, Luffy gets a fair shot because no Fishman is going to hate him for saving a Fishman's life.

ch 631 was pretty good.
hodi's water attack was just insane...it probably went miles...
