Casey Anthony Trial

Casey walked away today cleared of the murder charges against her, with no penalty. Do you think Casey killed her daughter? Do you think she should have been put behind bars?

EDIT: I forgot, she WAS solely found guilty for providing false information.

She definitely did it, there is no way a mother parties while her baby girl is missing, and her parents were freaking out while she was doing nothing.

I can't believe the only thing she was charged with was lying to the investigators and officers.

What I think is that the death was accidental. She chloroformed her so she could go party but accidentally gave her too much.

The she should have at least been charged with the child abuse charge, because that was clearly child abuse.

Its like Linda, I think that's her name, said. Whose life benefit more form Caylee's death? Definitively not Caylee, she now doesn't have a life to live.

I don't think it was an accident. Think about it. With Caylee gone, she could do what ever she wanted with out having to take care of the child. She would benefit from not having a child she didn't want ion the first place.

I don't really think we can prosecute her from something we know little about.

After all, they couldn't find anything to link her to the murder. No fingerprints, no hair follicles, nothing.

There was still enough circumstantial evidence. Even her parents were hinting that it was her

As well as when he said "I can put two and two together."
And the fact that she laughed when someone mentioned the rumor of Caylee drowning.

And seriously? Who goes out, parties and acts like nothing is wrong, won't help the police find her child, if she didn't do it.

No one accidentally kills someone and makes it look like a murder.

He said the red part when he was on the stand as a witness.

Her behavior alone in court shows something as well. Where her father was breaking down crying she just stared at him with a look that said if you rat me out I'll kill you.

And actually circumstantial evidence is enough. One man was sentenced to death for killing his wife and dumping her in the San Francisco bay. They had not evidence, other than circumstantial that he did anything, but yet he was still sentenced to death.

No idea if she did or didn't. People deal with greif in different ways, so her partying was no proof of anything. The main thing is that the prosecution had no solid evidence to prove that she murdered her daughter, they don't even know how the baby died. Really the only thing they could prove is that she lied to the police.
