I just played the demo and I gotta say that classic Sonic needs some adjustments. He seems to be pretty clunky when changing direction and his jump isn't high enough. Also, the camera should be zoomed out a little more cuz I can't see a lot of the enemies coming until I run into them. I wasn't nearly this bad at the original Sonic games.

The Sonic community is known to be quite good...at hacking. So yeah. The demo build contains a lot of sprite models which are never displayed. Thanks to the hacking, even the FULL STAGE LIST has been extracted, as the sprites for the stage names have been found. Open at your own risk of spoiling yourself!

The fact that all of that info came out of the hack of the demo is pretty ridiculous. Why would Sega have all of that info hidden in the coding of the demo? They should have guessed that someone would hack it and post it somewhere. If this pushes the release date back, I'm going to be pissed!

Shweet.

However, it will most likely suffer in the graphics department unfortunatley. DS style games based on console titles always suffer from pixelated graphics...but I haven't seen much from the 3DS yet so I'm not sure what to expect.

For any hardcore Sonic fan, this game should trump everything else that comes out at that time. Its a celebration of Sonic's 20 year history as one of gaming's top icons. It definitely takes top priority on my list.

So far, its looking like the hacked data from the demo hasn't forced the people making it to push the release date back or anything. We are still in the clear.

I lost interest because the 3DS officially sucks. It had no 3-D environments, so basically, Classic and Modern Sonic will be playing the exact same stages, only with a few miniscule switches or changes here and there.

It's a shame I can't get the PS3/Xbox version. It truly does look amazing...

That's true, but I wanted an iPod Touch for Christmas... ;~;

If I were to go along with this, which system should I get? Xbox or PS3? I'm more familiar with the controls on the PS3.

if wanna play this game i recommend saving money for a ps3 because if you get a 360 you wll have to pay money for online play witch is 60 bucks a year i think

So what if it has exclusive stages? There is going to be basically no difference between classic and modern. I think I'll stick with the 3D, different playstyles on PS3 if that's ok with you. (Ha...I just quoted Sonic Colors in a quirky manner).
