Tobi/Madara Identity RE-VISITED

I'm new to the Forum. I have a new Theory About Madara/Tobi which I wanna discuss here. I had this theory from 8 chapters ago and it keeps getting even more important.

Ok...I begin by saying that TOBI is Undeniably MADARA.

From Previous & current knowledge, it is to say that the writer "kishi" is preparing the back ground to reveal many secrets especially the identity of Tobi...

From careful observation it is to be known that Tobi is Madara and Madara is indeed an "Edo Tensei" himself, where the user died leaving Madara hanging around for this long.

It is to be known that when this summoning was performed, Edo Tensei had not yet been mastered. For this reason, Madara's Physical body lacked complete transformation into his youthful self, likewise his Strength. This is why

1. Madara's has the ability to REGENERATE himself, although at a slower pace...we saw this when he was burned by Amaterasu and when he lost his arm against Fu n Torune's bugs...

2. Madara said he's an empty shell of his former self..he's weaker...meaning, this form of Edo tensei wasn't mastered...and who could be the USER? it's not Oro cus he mastered it...Then, it must be no other but TOBIRAMA himself, not knowing that Edo tensei continues even after his death...{ it makes perfect sense that he'd resurrect Madara when he has his DNA all over the place...This must have happened when Tobirama left his team of Danzo and Sarutobi to fight the Mist shinobi alone. (we can confirm this by the current war and how most of the resurrected Mist Ninja know so much about Edo Tensei and Tobirama)}

3. Madara is physically weaker and his body hasn't completely transformed into his youthful self. That's why he wears the MASK.

It is logical that if the 2nd Hokage was fightin his final battle it is inevitable that he uses his most advance Jutsu which is Edo Tensei.

In his time, there are only a few shinobi stronger than himself that he could think of summoning...one is 1st hokage (that's if he was dead already), which he wont disrespect like that...the other is Madara Uchiha. The jutsu was still under refinement and he couldn't have known that his death wouldn't stop it.
Even so, it is possible that Madara escaped Tobirama's hold on him since the jutsu wasn't mastered yet.


It is absolute that Kabuto tried to resurrect Madara but the jutsu failed...Not because Madara wasn't in the plane of "Pure World" but that he had already been summoned. This is what Kabuto meant by "i haven't told a single soul".


And recently we see how interested Madara is in The Edo Tensei, How it works and so on...So yes, Tobirama is the cause for Madara...and for a token of respect and Appreciation, Madara picks the nickname "TOBI' in memory of TOBI-rama.

I like your thought process and this is probably true, but when he was engulfed by Amaterasu, the used his space/time ninjutsu to escape it. The same with Fu and Torune, he just transported his arm away to make it look like it was cut. But it has been hinted that he can regenerate. After his battle with Konan, she was able to damage him so much that he was missing an arm. Later though he was shown with his arm back.

2. Again I'll say I really like your theory, but there are some things that are wrong. One was that Madara is always saying that the Man whom he admired and respected the most was the First Hokage. Second, after his battle with the First, it was said that Madara died there, but he even said that this might have not been true. It was also greatly hinted upon that he had used Izanagi to escape before he really died. Still, props on the post

This is an excellent theory. It'll be interesting to see how close it is to what actually happens.

does anyone think that madara (tobi) is actually obito it only ever shows him with the one sharingan and the one it doesn't show is the one that kakashi has, they also look to be roughly the same age.

Personally, I still think Tobi is not Madara, but someone pretending to scare others and make them think it's Madara. I mean, he does call himself Madara, but who has seen his face and truly confirm that it actually is Madara? The fourth hokage said it was Uchiha Madara, but unless i get an undeniable proof that Tobi is Madara, I will not stop thinking otherwise.
