I think the better question is, can sex and pleasure be related? Or more so, is pleasure necessary with sex? I know it is for men when it comes to orgasm, but is it necessary for women ?

Why can't we just reproduce without the need for pleasure?

O_O are you serious? If you think women are tough to get "it" from now, imagine if there was no pleasure... I am a woman, and if there was no pleasure I sure as hell ain't gonna be like yeah sure let's have sex because it is good for you but sucks for me... I mean COME ON dude! >.> Good lord ppl these days..... Seriously the only reason for sex if there was no pleasure would be to reproduce... and I am sorry that is not worth it to me... Love and sex in essence are not, however that isn't to say they CAN'T be. If they are related depends heavily on the couple and how they view each other and the act itself. Alot of people fail to see the difference between sex and making love, they are the same physical action, however the overall difference is worlds apart. It's the emotion involved in the actions that determines if the act and the feeling are related.
