Normal: if you win Zero or Shika up-rep you. Nothing else happens.

Hardcore: if you win, whoever made the bet (zero in this case) up-reps you. I don't remember if you can then down rep him. But, if you lose, he down-reps you.

Kregcore: Anyone on kregcore vies against kregcore guys on the other side. Let's say you are on the against team and win. You can down rep every kregcore guy on the with team. In turn, they must all up-rep you and any kregcores on the against team. The reverse happens if you lose.

A lot at stake there.

Hardest of the hardcore: Much like kregcore, except that if you lose, any better not on your team, including normals, get to down-rep you. You only need to up-rep kregcore and above however. If you win, you only down-rep other HotHs and kregcores.

yup...sounds about right. Don't think we'll get to see what Minato meant though =(. I think A will say to Naruto what Minato actually meant after the flashback chapters. He'll state that's what Naruto has, and It''ll remind him of his old man, then let him through.
