New Episode potentially delayed on U.S. Broadcast

According to the schedule grids over at http://www.toonzone.net Disney XD just removed the 11PM airing of Naruto Shippuden this Saturday.

I hear it might be because of sensitivity to a natural disaster (a tornado I believe) but I don't know if that's really the case or not.

The 2:30AM reruns are still listed for Monday - Friday but it is not known if premieres will be held off for more than 1 week or not.

I looked up the schedule of Zap2it and it does not indicate this change but the Toon Zone schedule lists come straight from Disney XD.

I just wanted to give the dub watchers a heads up to soften the blow if I could. I'll provide any updates I get regarding Naruto premieres returning.

Hopefully it's just a 1 week break but there isn't even a rerun of Shippuden at 11PM this week according to this information. They're airing two episodes of Zeke and Luthor 11PM-12AM on Saturday. Which also seems a bit odd.

They're not being too friendly to their Marvel shows either. They barely rerun Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes which seems like something they'd want to do while Thor is in theaters and Captain America isn't far behind.

Nope... they run the premieres at 10:30AM on a Sunday and don't rerun them. They do rerun some of the 90s Marvel shows on Saturday and Sunday nights though... after 12AM. I haven't seen The Spectacular Spider-Man (the BEST Spider-Man cartoon by far) on their line-up for a while.

Get me rather concerned for Ultimate Spider-Man, Motor City (with some of the staff from Megas XLR) and Tron Uprising if Disney XD can't even be nice to Avengers when it's struggling.

Some people never stopped complaining that Disney XD should not be airing Naruto. Well DXD just might oblige them. Too bad this is probably the last we'll see of Naruto on US television.

Or maybe Naruto shippuden is geting moved back to Wednesday. Toonzone did not update to June yet.
I also checked tvguide.com and they sill show a new episode coming on Saturday. We might just have to wait until tomorrow to see which on is right.

Well they get their schedules straight from the networks and update perhaps more frequently than cable boxes and zap2it and in this case they were right.
