The ending of the episode is one of my favorite moments of Naruto Shippuden. Not that I hate Asuma, I actually like him a lot,
Spoiler:
but I really like how they ended the episode with the long pause, and finally telling Naruto that Asuma is dead
. It made it really intense.

No, I watched it last night too.
They changed Sakura's line from ''I'll knock you out'' to ''you'll pay for it''
and instead of saying Asuma Sarutobi has been killed Yamato says Asuma Sarutobi has fallen.

Its basically Devil May Cry(or Bayonetta) meets Dead or Alive meets Streets of Rage meets Street Fighter meets Power Stone meets Vanquish in gameplay but in essence its DragonBall Z meets One Piece meets Berserk meets Naruto.
