Bleach Manga: Tsukishima Shukuro

Tsukishima's motives and abilities are quite unclear, so this thread is for discussing what his goals may be and why his powers are such a mystery. Also, for me to present my own ideas.

In the latest chapter of Bleach, the chapter ended on a note of Uryu's eyes having a cold emptiness to them as he stares out intently. Now, since Tsukishima attacked him and Orihime, and Tsukishima's attack on Orihime seems to have affected her memory, I believe Tsukishima is simply controlling Uryu with his powers. However, there's an issue here. What happened to Orihime and what's happening to Uryu are both distinctly different, and on top of that, Ginjo says that Tsukishima's Fullbring could never do either of these things. Why, then, do Tsukishima's abilities seem to be changing?

I believe that when Tsukishima killed the Substitute Shinigami after the Fullbringers in Xcution had given their powers to him, Tsukishima obtained the powers of the Substitute Shinigami and the Fullbringers. The way Ginjo told it, a Fullbringer (human with Hollow powers) can give their powers to a Substitute Shinigami (human with Shinigami powers). Can't it work the other way, though? Tsukishima may have gathered the members of Xcution and had them give their powers to a Substitute in order to take his powers once they were done.

Now, both Uryu and Orihime have described Tsukishima's power as Zanpakuto-like. If Tsukishima really did take the Substitute's powers, he could very well be able to use a Zanpakuto. It would explain the discrepency between Uryu's and Orihime's injuries. Ginjo may also have speculated that someone else attacked Orihime because a former member of Xcution or the Substitute himself could do something similar. Tsukishima doesn't want to take Ichigo's powers, though.

Tsukishima clearly wants Ichigo's powers to advance. When he attacked Uryu, Ichigo contacted Xcution and began his training. When he attacked Orihime, Ichigo's training was advanced. When he met with Ichigo, he made many remarks at how Ichigo's power had grown so quickly and so well and how he liked Ichigo's power now. He wants Ichigo to become a Shinigami again. However, when he spoke to Yukio, he mentioned Xcution not wanting him to taint Ichigo or come into contact with Ichigo as he nears completion.

On it's surface, he's just saying that because Xcution's members want to relinquish their powers and give them to Ichigo, Ichigo not reaching full power would be a bad idea. But he could also be hinting at the fact that, since he now has the power to influence and control people, he could use his power to control Ichigo and make Ichigo use his Shinigami powers to do something. What that would be, I dunno, but he certainly didn't attack Ichigo because he wanted to kill him or to stop his advancement.

So, why do you think Tsukishima has his powers, and what do you think his goals might be?

He may want Ichigo to open the Dangai for him, but I doubt Aizen is within his scope.

i think he may want ichigo to get his powers back that way he can get in contact with the soul society to possibly start a war or something much more evil then again maybe he isnt the evil one maybe he is trying to get ichigo away from the other full bringers .
