Reputation Suggestion

I am not positive that this is all that possible, but if it is, I strongly suggest that you take this into consideration. I'm not going to type out a long wall of text like I normally do with feedback, because it seems when I do it's pretty hard for most people to understand, other than the Admins.

So what if spreading of rep were based on time, NOT the amount of rep you spread. It seems people don't like this. Think about it.

If we had a time limit. For example:

I rep Rice. I have to wait a certain amount of days to rep him again, rather than having to rep others.

I think it would reduce trading.

Thoughts?

I actually have thought about this before. I prefer it more than forcing to spread.

Sizzling sweet. I'm thinking like a 4 or 5 day limit. Still don't know if it's possible. With my luck, it probably isn't.

Better than the current system. In the past, whenever I've found someone did two repworthy things in the same month, I was unable to rep them because I rep so rarely that I hadn't spread it around enough to do it again.

If mods/admins/members approve, it'd be best to do this soon to accompany the rep reset.

Nice idea indeed , but no need to reach for 4 to 5 days I guess.
1 or 2 days is better because the reputation system was just changed awhile ago.

I agree with you. It's a major flaw to me when you can't give rep to a deserving post w/o spreading more first. That's just asking for ppl to spam rep to posts that don't deserve it.

Hey, not just the admins can understand walls of text

And yes, like Maik, I have thought about suggesting this, but never did....and I mean back in '09
