1. I say yes considering

2. Cheerleading is infact hot actually any sport for girls is hot I like my women atleast alittle active

3. Btw even if cheerleading or physical sport doesnt work out I know hot band girls well marching band anyways and so I've been told thats a sport so yea

I say it's a sport.
I mean, people aren't naturally able to do a splits and a round house and a toe touch and so on. It requires practice.
And if it requires effort and practice, I deem it a sport.

Idk one of my friends said it's becasue in marching band she has to march around and hold her instrument up and in the right positions constantly

But Marching band is

Marching band ain't either. that's like saying chorus is a sport.
Marching band is just marching and playing instruments. It's so not a sport. There's really nothing athletic about it.

Maybe the color gaurd is, or the flag twirler people. Those I might be able to say it's a technical sport.

No, but then again people have trouble determining the difference between athletic completion and sport. All sports are athletic competition, but not vice versa.
Here are things that are NOT sports:
swimming
racing
In fact any Track and Field
Horse SHoes
Here are things that are:
Baseball
Table Tennis
Basketball

In other words, what distinguishes a sport is direct competition with your opponents. If it involves only time or scoring of judges mostly likely it is only an athletic competition.
Golf is a bit of a gray area, but since generally it is played in pairs, I give it the go ahead as a sport.

But Woost, while racing is based on time. It does put you in direct competition with your opponent,but instead of a scoreboard, you have to beat certain time.

But you do not compete against your opponents. You could race by yourself and have your time put on the scoreboard. Or you could trow a shot put and have that distance measured. You are not competing against opponents only a clock, distance, or judges score.

Generally, if it is not one team versus another, it is not a sport. Although, not necessarily.
