they cant manually unfuse and even if they could the second they unfuse vegeto is going to rip both of their heads off

Gogeta is equalized with Vegito in power and speed seeing as how they are the same people fused together. Also by the time that Gogeta could launch a stardust buster at Vegito, A spirit sword would impale Gogeta.

the only problem is that boohan is a hell of alot stronger than janemba, SSJ3 goku was somewhat staggering janemba

-you need to read the canon version of dragonball, im assuming you watched the non canon anime known as dragonball z, and the american dub which is known to make alot of dub mistakes. and besides in the CANON manga old kai said the fusion lasts forever, if there was a way around it he wouldve told goku when goku asked.
-and going by your logic its the dance that gives fusion dance characters their power and not just a tool for fusing
