Alright the literal translation for sharingan is copy wheel however not every ninja with the sharingan has shown the ability to copy.
examples

Kakashi- he is know for copy ninjutsu, he only has one jutsu of his own all the rest are copied

Sasuke- he has shown limited copy ninjutsu as a kid, but even that was only taijutsu no ninjutsu

Madara- not much is know about his abilities

Itachi- he has shown great ,ninjutsu ,taijutsu ,and awesome genjutsu but he has never been shown copying a tecnique

so my question is can all sharingan ninjas use copy ninjutsu or just kakashi.

I think all can but since all except kakashi are from the uchiha clan they didn't need to. Cause they learned alot of other techniques. Kakashi is just special in his way. Its his trademark. Copyninja Hatake Kakashi.

I think all CAN do it but I'm betting Kakashi's on a different level at it. I don't care how strong the Uchiha are, it doesn't matter if you need to copy it, a bad ass devistating jutsu would probably be copied by anyone who could do so regardless if they're awesome without it or not.

Yes, All With Sharingan Can Copy Jutsu, But The Reason Kakashi Is So Deft In It Is Because, Whereas Other's Can Copy Just As He Can, He Is Capable Of Learning It And Performing It. It Is His Ability To Learn Super Fast That Earns Him The Advantage (This Learning Ability Is Why He Graduated The Academy At 6yrs Even Earlier Than Itachi).

For Reference, Remember Lee vs Sasuke. Lee Said, It's One Things To Copy His Taijutsu And Another To Be Able To Perform It.

the sharingan evolved so much for the characters that are left, thats true but Characters like danzo didin't use the sharingan to copy either, and danzo's sharingan wasin't fully evolved like Itachi, sasuke, or madara's.

So IMO the reason why other sharingan users did not copy was because they weren't skilled enough to actually USE the jutsu that they copied like kakashi is.

I Think This Idea Is Very Incorrect... Having The Sharingan DOES NOT Automatically Make You Know Amazing Jutsu. Unless You're The Kind That Would Whip Up Susanoo Against Some Genin Collections Trying To Mess With Ya...

Come on, Having Sharing Doesn't Guarantee A Mastery Of A Particular Handsign To Perform Jutsu. The Sharingan Aids To Be Able To Memorize It. That's By All Means A Copy.

Unless You Can Prove This Definition Is Based On ONLY Kakashi's Use Of The Sharingan. The Sharingan Has Existed Way Before Kakashi And So Does Zabuza's Definition.

what i meant was that as soon as we found out about the MS the focus swiched so much that we no longer hear about any of its copy abilities and after MS it went evolved again to EMS now when i think about the sharingan the copy ability is probably last on the list of abilities i think of..which is probably the same as the author he keeps inventing new and outrageous abilities that the old are mostly forgotten

i agree but kurenai isn't a good example sharingans are unaffected by genjutsu so she pretty much screwed herself in the first place

But when he tried to do it, there was recoil due to him not used to the type of training Lee does. It's one thing to copy it, and another to perform it perfectly.

sasuke has mastered the mangekyou sharingan in less time than any other sharingan chracter. he has had it for a month and can use susanoo, amatsuro, and tskumiyomi equal or better than itachi
remember before the time skip kakashi couldn't use kamiu and he had the sharingan since he was what twelve he was 30 when he first used it on diedra sasuke is only 16, he mastered it faster
not to mention no offence to fans but let's face it after sasuke and diedra clashed sasuke was the one left standing and i'm pretty sure explosion release is a kekkai genkai "good genes"
