When a bear get close they would raise up to smack you with their massive paw.I would let the bear came close to me and when they raise up, i'll stab them in the vital part like the eye or throat.

I am feated by smokey the bear's character statement stating that "only I can prevent forest fires". Thus, I will the forest fire to not stop and the bear gets burned. I'll hide under my katana.

What is the reach of the bears arms? Is my katana longer? Does the bear have rabies or cubs in the cave with it? Has the bear attacked humans before?

The first thing I would think to do is dodge its initial attack and counter by an attempted vertical thrust into its throat or the area around its throat in the hope of killing it with one blow. I can't tell you whether I'm actually fast enough to do that or whether that would successfully kill the bear, so I can't predict the outcome of this match.

I actually have confidence in my Swordsmanship. Also, be resourcefull! Its a narrow cave, so what i'd do is take aim (holding it by the tip) and throw the Katana Tomahawk-Style down the cave. Since its narrow, the Bear cant sidestep. Then after it hits I just shove it in farther. A second scenario is to run up the side wall and drive it through the head.

I think the bear would win in the longrun.... he can probably take way more hits then i can... he'll just jump on me and eat me alive.

The katana is 4 ft,the bear is a male and it is completely healthy.

Depends what kind of bear it is. If it is something like a Black Bear, beating it with a katana could probably happen with at least minimal injury depending on your sword skill, but if it is something like a Grizzly, you are probably going to be mauled to death in about 5 seconds. Having been within 30 feet of a full grown Grizzly in the wild(that sucker was f#$*ing huge,at least 800 pounds easy) I don't think having a 4 ft. long sword wouldn't do you a lot of good.
