Snoopy Vs. Red Baron Vs. Arlong Vs. Karsa Orlong

Setting is a strange, even-tempered world with soft grasses and one laaaaaaaaaaaaaarge pool 87,000,000 Fathoms deep, crystal clear, no detritus, bugs, ameoba... just smooth dolomite of all things straight to the bottom. There are no seismic activities, no molten cores, and only a suffiecient magnetic field. Gravity is a staggering 1x Earth Gravity, air pressure is twice earth's at sea level, and oxygen content is tripled.

Snoopy should need no introduction, but for the sake of the ignorant, he possesses every upside made available to him through every medium he has been attached to, whether song, show, comic, puzzle, Met-Life Blimp, or whatever. Downside is reliance on his unintelligible bird-buddies led by Woodstock (all of which are at his disposal for this conflict).

The Red Baron, known as Baron Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen is practically superhuman, yet he was real. Here is his wiki: wiki He was a cavalryman before a pilot, and is generally regarded as the Ace of Aces in World War I, officially credited with 80 confirmed kills. And that's just the confirmed ones. He managed to land his plane in controlled conditions while having no use of his heart and failing lungs. Last word spoken by witnesses was supposedly "kaputt". Like Snoopy, you may include abilities granted him via other media, like that Toby McGuire movie where he's an immortal model pilot. Like with Naruto, ET Baron seems significantly weaker despite the benefits.

Arlong is a One Piece veteran with immense strength and obvious aquatic advantages. Thus far we have a Champion of the Sea and a champion of the Air!

Karsa Orlong is a Teblor Toblakai giant from the Malazan series. He has an ensorcelled body-length flint sword made unbreakable and housing two of his best and only friends' souls. He has killed two of his ancestors' gods, two Deragoth Hounds of Darkness which were gods of the Eres'al people, one God-Emporer, Fener--the Boar god of war, one Shi'gal Assassin of the K'Chain Nah'ruk--a Short-tailed giant flying Lizard-beast of superior senses and intellect and maneuverability; has crushed several civilizations; and has fought Icarium to a stalemate--and Icarium is considered one of the most devastating powers in ever. He also rides a Jhag horse which is a horse bred for his proportions and runs much faster than typical horses, traveling in 3 days what takes most 4days at hard gallop. They are also far more menacing and belligerent than typical horses. Karsa Orlong has only ever shown fear once, and that was upon seeing two guys dueling each other with sword skills so far beyond his own he nearly pissed himself. Oh, nearly forgot, not that it matters here, but Karsa and his isolated subset of kin are immune to sorcerous attacks. That ain't me, that's the actual canon.

Now we have our Champion of the Land! Snoopy is the Wildcard!


Everyone's super-bloodlusted and the starting distance is 14 furlongs.

My take: Red baron wins. Arlong focuses his attacks on Airborne Snoopy, dislodging him with water spout bouts. Snoopy 'chutes down, landside. Red Baron engages Snoopy, but Orlong engages Snoopy as well. Snoopy is easily dispatched by Orlong, but Orlong--despite his speed and evasion feats--dodges and deflects only so many of the Red Baron's bullets before temporarily succumbing to his wounds. Because Teblor have many back-up organs, including four lungs, it's possible he would recover, except Arlong forces a tidal wave ashore which pulls in Orlong who is forced to crush-depth and dies. Arlong then attempts to take the Red Baron down as he did Snoopy, except Arlong isn't as strong against bullets as Orlong.

Baron radios his victory in to the orbiting space zeppelin and makes a landing, only to die from a lucky shot from Snoopy at the start of the battle.

I think arlong would just camp out in the water. The baron would take snoopy and his bird partners out in the air. Orlong being the way he is described to be would jump into the water without fear and be ripped to shreds. Then it would come down to how the hell is the baron going to get into the water? So like you said some type of water attack would spout up knock the plane out and then Arlong would be the winner. There's too much water for him not to win

A-ha! Unfortunately, we both fell for my trap! Arlong is in pure water! That means cellular death as he breathes it in, being the fishman he is. So Arlong's out by suicide.
