None of the new gen are gonna die. Just period.

I think either Kakashi or Tsunade are gonna be the next to die.

Kakashi just because we all know him as one of the strongest people in Konoha, so if he died then that would mean that the war is really big. And Tsunade just because she doesn't really have any reason to be alive right now.

I think if any of the new gen people died, other then Shino (Who I like) or Tenten, I would cry. I love Shino, but I guess I can sorta see the New gen without him...or Tenten...

Tsunade healed 100's of people at once, and protected every single person in the Leaf Village from being crushed by the same technique which reduced the Village to a pulp. And she still had the enrgy to try and confront Pein. I should note, that any other of the mentioned Kages would've tried to confront Pein from the start, died in the process - and have their Village go to hell. I think Tsunade did quite well. Not like any ninja bar Naruto would've been able to kill Pein anyway, can't really criticize Tsunade for failing to do so, in a near comatose condition.

No, I meant as in giving a crap like soeone wanted to kill her like danzo. She wasn't a target, of course everyone had feelings for her but if someone like sasuke were trying to kill her instead of danzo I'm pretty confident that her term would have been much shorter

Also, Asuma was killed off in the same arc that he got loads of screen time. Same with Jiraiya. Shizune follows that rule too, she got loads of screen time in the Pein arc before she was killed off. Though, she was brought back to life. These are all characters who never got huge amounts of screen time but held significant importance, who were suddenly killed off. So we can expect another character like that, to die next.

If we looked for a link between the characters relations, we can see that Asuma taught Team 10. Jiraiya taught Naruto. Shizune taught Sakura. Kakashi taught Team 7. They are all teachers. We can also see that Asuma was the son of Sarutobi, who taught Jiraiya, who taught Minato, the teacher of Kakashi. Sarutobi also taught Tsunade, who trained Shizune. Sarutobi has died, Jiraiya has died, Minato has died, Kakashi has technically died. Shizune technically died also - so that leaves Tsunade. She is also the teacher of Sakura. If Tsunade died, then all of Team 7's teachers would have died. Her reasoning for being brought into the series is only to ensure Naruto becomes Hokage, anyway. However, she's kinda on the same boat as Choza, Kishi had his chance to kill her off, why kill her off now?

The only other teacher I can think of, is Iruka, who funnily enough taught Naruto - and just made an appearance into the series, telling Naruto not to get into trouble. I could certainly see him dying to protect Naruto, in the same way he protected him at the very beginning of the series.

Imo, the next character with significant importance to die, will either be Tsunade, or Iruka.

If Iruka dies, I'd Quit Watching Naruto...Seriously, Iruka is the Guy that even If he's not your favorite, seeing him never bores you. You cant hate him. He's the realest Character in Naruto... Take him out and I'll start writing my own Manga with Iruka in as the Protagonist.

Seriously, Everything From Iruka Creates An Emotional Surge. That's The Strength Of His Character.

Well......I feel like Tsunade or Kakashi will die because for Naruto to become Hokage, they are both kind of in the way......The possibility of Tsunade or Kakashi (If Tsunade dies) stepping down from the Hokage spot to let Naruto take their spot remains but one of them has to die for Naruto's character to progress IMO

Eh, agree and disagree. Disagree because they don't have to die for him to become Hokage as Minato was made Hokage even though Hiruzen was still alive. And considering Hokage is supposed to be strongest in the village, Naruto has them both when it comes to combat as of the group he was the only one capable of defeating pain, not to mention Kakashi has literally said he has no interest in being Hokage and Tsunade believes Naruto will be her heir (inferred from her last conversation with Jiraiya, RIP Ero Sennin).

I agree in the sense that Naruto is still a fool for the most part and still not ready for the title (hell he couldn't even listen to an order directly from the 5 Kages to not join the war, no way he could make sound decisions for the best of the village/world in other situations where his friends are in danger). If Tsunade lives, she won't see him made Hokage until he has knowledge in more than training and battle strategy.

But of who should die..... I'm gonna go with none for now. I could see Madara seeing all those currently fighting as 'beneath him' so he just lets Gedo rampage for a while killing on a whim, waiting for Bee and Naruto's arrival. Gedo will kill all the lesser ninja who have no backstory (look at you, you haven't even got a name tag have ya?!?) while the rest try and strategize about what is happening that Madara just shows up now

Lol, I mean she doesn't have a huge part in the plot right now. Like if Bee were to die right now then it would be a huge thing since he is helping Naruto. But if she died it wouldn't effect the plot so much. But it would still suck.

She's in charge of the shinobi army, so it would have a significant effect on the morale of Leaf shinobi fighting.

She said herself she surrounded everyone with Katsuyu divisions. Why the flip would she have just surrounded the main characters? If Jiraiya was Hokage, Tsunade wouldn't be in the Leaf Village, she'd be off travelling with Shizune. Give me a chapter reference to where Naruto said Jiraiya wouldn't have allowed hm to go off to learn Sage Mode.

First. You misunderstood my point. Her strenght has nothing to do with this. The fact that no one has any intentions to kill her (like sasuke did with danzo) makes hokage a matter of paperwork in her case. If sasuke had tried to kill her instead of danzo, I'm pretty confident that she would be dead. Besides, she hasn't fought any one since orochimaru really.

Second. About the katsuyu division, like I said only the main characters meaning the shinobi surrvived. Pretty much all the civillians were dead.

third. Remember when naruto was all mad about tsunade letting jaraiya go to pain after he found out he was dead. Naruto said that if jaraiya were hokage he never would have let her do something like that. Chapter 405.
Regardless of wether or not she would be in the village, it was still a misjudgment. In any case, naruto would not have gone off to learn sage mode because he did that to get revenge on pain, if he had no reason for revenge then he wouldn't have gone off to train in sage mode during the time.


In any case, like I said, all of this is irrelevant. She has very little if not nothing to do in the story right now.

And? Why is her not fighting anyone a bad thing? That means shes kept the Village at peace for a long time, like Kages are supposed to. If you mean shes a boring character because she never fights anyone, then thats just your personal opinion not fact. Paperwork is just one of the many things she has to do. She has to see to that everything in the village is going well, she has to maintain peace within the village as well as with villages outside it. Issuing missions and analyzing the skills of each and every shinobi to get a certain amount of knowledge on who suits what task best.

Hell - 430 page 8. Clearly many more ninja have been saved by Katsuyu.

Not everyone was being healed by the slugs, only some injured civillians. Pain also ripped out the souls of some people who might know. But the main thing is that not everyone had the slugs. This is what I was saying. It was pretty much the ninjas that survived.

Not necessarily. Since jaraiya would be hokage, naruto wouldn't have as much time to train under him during the time skip. It is possable he could have learned it then. There would also be no need to destroy the village since naruto would be in the village. Plus jaraiya fighting with naruto and everyone would boost odds tremendously. He would have done fine, but again this is all so irrelivent and I don't know how all of this came up.
