Maybe awakening the sharingan takes some much energy that you don't remember the first time you activate it (Sasuke din't remember!) So maybe it was the second time Obito activated it.

Well obito was like older than sasuke when he awakened one tomoe in each eye so maybe it wud have been weird if he just started out with one tomoe. Possibly, during a specific age you start out with 1 if you awaken it and maybe past a certain age you start with two..

I noticed it. At the time I attributed it to Obito being amazing and didn't think anything more of it.

Obito is not Madara, or tobi because madara is casted out as middle aged in the manga and in Kakashi's story Obito is like 13 so obviosly it cant be tobi or any of those and Tobi takes the reningan and activates his sharingan so he can preform Tsuki no Mai

Wow this theory is old lol. I keep reading "sasuke didn't know he awakened his sharingan". How do you know he didn't know? Maybe in his fight with Haku he did it voluntarily.

There's no reason for a theory. Every single member of the blood line isn't going to be the same, the tomoe that awaken upon activation are just different depending on who it is. Same with anything. Look at the Byakugan, they don't all possess the same level of ability.

It's that, or because of age. Obito was what, 13ish when his activated, Sasuke was like, 7. Maybe Obito's Sharingan would have just been more powerful altogether.

As stated in a post before, it was something I noticed, and back when I first joined and made this thread (which was almost a year ago), it seemed important. We haven't been shown any other Uchiha member to start out with two tomoe when they awakened their Sharingan. Give me other examples of which Uchiha awakened their Sharingan with how many tomoe and I'll reconsider. With Sasuke the only one we can compare too, I'm not entirely convinced. It may not have any relevance to the plot, but it's an anomaly that needs explained.
