I thought it was a pretty good chapter and another thing thats kinda small I am happy that Kubo isnt giving his chapters the same name and adding a number at the end because I cant tell what the chapter is gonna be about called when its called something like "Ascend 9" but I could pretty much figure it out when it was called "Dirty Boots Dangers". Just a little rant.Sorry.

The chapter was good. It seems like he used a variation of the flash step during the fight. I just want to know what is happening to Ichigo on the last page. It seems like something is happening to the black reishi of Ichigo's full-bring. o.o I hate Bleach's cliffhangers! XD

When done correctly. A match where two people use the same moves over and over again can last as much as three chapters and still be good, as long as the fighters find new and original ways to use those moves against the enemy. Ichigo didn't really introduce any new abilities. He simply took advantage of his own weakness and his opponent's assumption that he was unaware of it.

Good chapter. Ichigo says he probably has more experience than Jackie, and I believe him. Despite being more used to Fullbring, it seems that Jackie is impatient. Ichigo was standing still and using the same moves over and over, and Jackie couldn't stand that Ichigo wasn't going on the offensive, but what Ichigo was doing was gauging his own abilities as well as Jackie's. Jackie lowered her guard and went completely offensive, not realizing that that was what Ichigo wanted. She left herself open because she'd assumed Ichigo didn't know his own weakness. Ichigo took advantage of that and used it to strike. Treat it like a real fight? Check.

Jackie was telling him that if he took any more hits, he could die, but she must not understand that Ichigo's life was threatened more times in a single day than hers has been, period. Ichigo knows how to handle life-or-death situations, and he handled it well. He didn't take any more hits than necessary to prepare a Fullbring speed-up. Jackie was simply too immersed in trying to take him down to see what he was really doing, and that cost her. Ichigo was more calm and well-prepared, so I would say that if the fight continues, Jackie won't win.

It's always more fun to watch when the good guys win in a legitimate way.

Well it depends though.

The quality of a fight is more important than the quantity.

Example:

Kisame VS Killer Bee(4 chapter fight) could probably be considered better than Naruto VS Pain(12 chapter fight) due how interesting the fight is. A long dragged out fight were not much really happen is crap compared to an short where a lot of epicness happened like Ichigo Vs Aizen.

Though a fight needs to be of perfect length and edgey to obtain that right amount of quality.

However this concept can go to chapter length. Just because a fight lasted a lot of chapters doesn't mean it was long it mean may have been dragged out. This chapter is no exception since it used so many giant panels in this chapter or fight. The actual length depends on how long it took you to read through the fight or the anime's take or perception on it.

Take Shuhei and Kuromaru VS Tosen: It lasted 6 chapters in the manga. Barely 2 episodes in the anime.

Lets not forget the including of factors that take away from the fight's time such as flashbacks and scene cut outs as well as dialogue.

I guess this chapter was okay but Im not liking the pace Bleach is going at though.

I mean in one chapter Kubo will introduce an character's Full Bring and explain it in the next chapter and quickly and briefly wrap up the fight in the next chapter.

It's an arc theme. In the Arrancar Arc, an Arrancar was introduced and exchanged banter with the protagonists he encountered before fighting and then revealing his Resureccion. Some of them had periods of pre-fight action involving various tasks for the benefit of either Aizen or themselves.

In the Soul Society Arc, Ichigo encountered a Soul Reaper, who then exchanged banter with him while at some point revealing his ranking. Then Ichigo and the Soul Reaper fought, and the Soul Reaper revealed his Shikai at some point in the fight.

In the Lost Substitute Shinigami Arc, the Fullbringers reveal their Fullbring object and ability while Ichigo trains, and then later (insert part 2 of arc theme here). Part 2 most likely involves utilizing the Fullbring in battle while simultaneously revealing a new ability it has. Honestly, I think the author is simply revealing Xcution's Fullbrings while Ichigo trains so that he can allow for more to happen in later fights. Typically in any manga fight, both combatants will reveal at least one new power, or reveal a new way to use an old power. I would guess that the reason the author is showing us the Fullbrings now is so that he can have the members of Xcution to use them in new and creative ways in later fights, without throwing too much at the reader all at once.

Look at it this way: Suppose you read a fight between Jackie and Moe. If Jackie were to demonstrate both her first Fullbring ability (getting her boots dirty) as well as a new way to use her Fullbring (say, ripping her boots) then it would take away from the impressiveness of Jackie simply using her Fullbring in a new way. The author is familiarizing us with the abilities before he brings them into combat in order to make the fights more interesting for the reader. If you look at the Arrancar Arc, we knew what many of the protagonists were capable of before they even started fighting.

I just think too many people bash Bleach without providing any more detailed reasoning as to why they don't like it. It's not like I'm one of those "If you don't like it, why don't you write a manga?" Because that's just foolish. But if you want to say you don't like something you should be more explicit about it than when you dislike something. Positive>Negative, in my opinion. I don't care about the author, but I like the manga, and honestly when someone else is saying something I like is bad I prefer to contest their reasoning. That's how I feel, anyways. It's usually pointless, but I've got motivation behind it.

That's good. My take on Fullbring is that it's all odd compared to the stuff Bleach's had before, so if you think it's odd, we share that opinion. Riruka's Fullbring is inserting objects into other objects, Giriko's is entirely time-based, and Chad's involves tranforming his arms to shoot energy blasts. They're quite outside what one would expect from, say, an Arrancar or Soul Reaper.

They're all powerful in their own respect, however. If you consider Riruka's Fullbring, she could beat even the most powerful people with a heart sticker and a teddy bear. All she would have to do is speed up, stick the heart on her opponent, and say "I permit you", and her opponent is now trapped inside a teddy bear. It's like when Van Der Decken in One Piece taps his opponent and makes them a target, but much more quick to take effect.

Yukio's Fullbring would be shown last, and you know the one that's shown last is always the most unique or powerful. I'd say unique, though.

Either what Sparky said or he's overused Fullbring and the strain on his body is causing injury.
