Great chapter, but we'll probably get cut away to another fight like when kakashi went crazy. Maybe focusing on tenten/kotetsu/izumo against kakuzu.

No, he was referring to the entire generation, not two children in particular. thats when he told shikamaru kurenai was pregnant with his child.

2 translations said 2 different things. Which do you believe.

As far as Im conern Tenten probably boosted up Asuma's jutsu to cause more damage.

I mean when it came out of Asuma's mouth it wasn't that large when it hit the mask it was really large.

I beleive that is just the tail Asuma's attack. Look at the position of the fan. It doesn't follow those lines. Essentially wind buffeting around Ten Ten instead.

Nope. It cut from Kakashi's fight because Kakashi is badass and by the time we cut back no one on Kabuto's side will be left. It can't cut from Choji's fight because not only is it much more personal, but it's his true time to shine, and we have to see the final blow for Choji's true evolution into a full-fledged ninja to occur. In all likelihood, Choji is going to solo Asuma, and it's going to be awesome. Choji certainly has that potential.

Everything up to the last page was a bore. Though it was nice to see that Kurenai finally had her baby for awhile now.

Seems like this portion of the war will take two more chapters til we move on. One for the fight and one after saying how Asuma is proud of his students.

Maybe we'll see Tenten solo Kakuzu after.

ten ten ruined what would have been a very good chapter. I thought mortals shouldn't be able to wield the weapons because they absorb such a colossal amount of chakara when used according to raikage..... and Ten Ten is using it! She should be dead! -1 kishi.

Kishi knows that. He probably gave it to her for a reason. To make her useful for awhile and to kill her off [Maybe] (Since the effects take awhile to kick in)

I'm tired of seeing the Shinobi Alliance overpowering the Akatsuki by only using TnJ. For once I'd like to see the villains kicka$$. And since Orochibuto is nice enough to give his "puppets" a mind of their own and lousy to care about his job, Chouji is the perfect person to cause the collapse of the Shinobi Alliance. Here are some examples which proof that Choji's behaviour will cause disturbance to the SA:

=> Page 6 (chapter 533): Seeing Chouji unable to battle, Ino uses her Mind Transfer Jutsu to block Asuma's attack leaving her body vulnerable for Zetsu to attack.

=> Page 10 (533): Ino (as Chouji) gets hit by Asuma's attack and Chouza interferes by shield his son with his own body.

=> Page 15 (533): Dan overpowers the SA ninjas due to Chouza absence who was occupied defending scaredy cat.

One of the worst chapters i've read so far. They really milked Chouji. 2 week wait for this was a disappointment and they still haven't gotten back to Kakashi doing whateveer he's going to do yet :P

It seems you missed the last panel where Choji turned into a butter. It might have been a problem, but it won't anymore.

I lolled so hard when I saw that Asuma TK'd.
I did think it was Tenten at first, but if you look closely, she's swinging the fan in the opposite direction of the wind, so it couldn't have been her. And I doubt that she has like, any chakra since she's a weapons specialist. Perhaps just holding it will kill her in a chapter or two?

Keeping with Asuma in Choujis body, dodging a horribly fast fuuton at point blank range, and intercepting Asumas attack with Mind Transfer and quickly blocking. That girl is easily on the same tier as Chouji and Shikamaru now.

Tenten is obviously going to get more screen time. And I look forward to seeing what Chouji can do ;D Brilliant chapter =]

This is true. She hasn't been this impressive since the Chunin exams. I have missed that Ino.

She now clearly is ahead of Hinata, Sakura, Karin, and TenTen. Probably still surpassed by Temari though.

My only question...Kakuzu's mask was broke just from that jutsu which Asuma used? We know that it took a Raikiri from Kakashi to kill one of those hearts...so that probably means that jutsu which Asuma used is on the same level as a Lightning Blade. If it was, then it used a lot of chakra. Are those dead corpses even limited by an amount of chakra? Or do they have a unlimited amount of chakra?


Choji going Butterfly Mode. He's gonna kick ass next chapter.

I think they do actually have an unlimited chakra source since they don't have physical bodies.


He will, but the question is, will it leave him vulnerable to another enemy after Butterfly Mode depletes?
