Thumbs up The importance of Sasuke to the plot!

I often hear a lot of people criticizing Sasuke's screentime in the plot, especially in this last few arcs. But isn't this imporant to keep the plot fresh and re-readable?
Sasuke and Naruto, they are the opposite of eachother, really. Naruto symbolizes Fire and Peace while Sasuke symbolizes Darkness and Hatred. But there is something this two have in common: they both have a goal to achieve in life. And the fact that these two characters have a goal means that two characters will stand out in the plot instead of one character and a side character. By seing Naruto develop, we see a person who has taken the Path of Good and grow in it. On the other hand, by seing Sasuke develop, we see a person who has chosen the Path of Evil and grow in it. Watching the story from this prespective its more fun and more enthusiastic than watching only Naruto develop in the series.

I also heard people complaining about Sasuke behaviour. When I started to read Naruto manga, Sasuke didn't appeal me at all, while the series were progressing I started to felt hatred towards him. And it's not only Sasuke, villains like Madara, Kabuto and Orochimaru, they just make you want to punch them in the face and it's really good how Kishi brings that evil mood with the villains and it really makes you fell like the characters are fighting against a real threat. In some series (sometimes even in Naruto fillers) the villains are likeable.
If you hate Sasuke, it means that Kishi is doing a good job turning him in a villain, if you love him is because you're impressed the way Sasuke is turning out and you never thought a mangaka could turn one of the protagonists to a main antagonist. If you don't fell nothing towards him, you're a emo.

I totally agree! There always has to be an antagonist you totally hate. I really like the way Kishi has Sasuke going further and further into the darkness. It makes the plot much, much better. It is good to see what is happening with both Naruto and Sasuke. It brings more anticipation to their inevitable final battle.

I agree, Sasuke is a villain and villains are suppose to be disliked. He's supposed to feel like a dangerous threat and not some villain that we are suppose to like.

I'm not saying that villians aren't suppose to be likeable. I just like when a villian brings that evil mood around with him/her. It's up to the public to decided whethere to like him/her or not.
