In Chapter 529 it was said:
Kinkaku and Ginkaku were swallowed when Kumogakure tried to capture the Kyuubi long before Madara took control of it. However: In Chapter 527 it was said it happened during Tobirama's Era which was quite after Madara and Shodai fought off considering Hiruzen seems to have been in quite his youthful age. Am I missing something here? |

Yes. In Chapter 527, A says: "During their era", meaning the time of Kinkaku and Ginkaku, not of Tobirama.
