Use Sandstorm!
*Cranidos releases sand at Treeko and it surronds the battle field*
This is no problem for you Cranidos!
Use Incinerate!
*Cranidos can see fine in the sandstorm and sends flames again at Treeko*

(the reason I am going kinda had is that you used a Lucario and you shouldn't have a high evolved pokemon by the second gym, cause you normally wouldn't have that until the 4th or maybe 5th)

(I dont see a problem with it honestly. Its based off friendship and not levels, and on my games my started is atleast evolved when i got to the 2nd gym sometimes even the first.)

Jeremy: "Ok Treecko, Lets finish this fight!! Dodge and then Use Mega Drain!" *Treecko, starts to get out of the way but is hit by tje cranidos, He slowly stands up and tries to asborb Cranidos's energy.
