How to survive your first day on the forum

One: Read the rules. One of the most common mistakes that new users end up making is not reading the rules. If you don't read the rules then you'll probably end up getting into trouble.

Two: Don't post any Naruto or Viz-related images. They aren't allowed on the forum due to copyright issues, unfortunately. This is the second most common mistakes that most new users make. If you want to know what are consideredViz related images go here. Second link

Three: Try not to start a flame war with random users. A flame war, if you don't know, is a large arguement between two or more people, usually involving lots of insults and cursing. If you do get in a flame war, you'll end up getting an infraction. (Info about infraction here) You may go to the Infraction Appeal Thread if you feel you were infracted unfairly, but keep in mind that you must first have a really, REALLY good reason for them to overturn it. If you enter the thread without a good reason, you can get another infraction for wasting the moderator's time.

Four: If you want people to like you, just be yourself. They best way to make friends is to go to Off Topic. Here you can talk about what you like and make some new friends as well.

Follow these tips and you will do just fine on your first day. If you ever need help with anything on the forum, you can give the forum ANBU a visit and ask them anything about the forum.

It's definitely very brief, and I think you should go more into depth about what is infractable and what is not.

Not to mention how many other guides like this have been made.

And perhaps this would be better suited in the feedback forum?

They have a timer that lasts like thirty seconds, but it's not very useful in my opinion because you can go get a soda or something in that time and then check the yes I read the rules.

They should make it like an hour for the lulz.

Chances are, like it pretty clearly implies in the rules, we're able to tell who reads the rules, and who does not. It shows.

The time takes too long, I was done with reading way before the timer finished. (ive had to read it twice now

so I know I make no blunder with stating this fact.)
The rules are not very in depth, not that im complaining, because who wants to sit there and read through a hundred paragraphs.

I never read the rules. I glanced at them and knew what they meant. they're very simple actually, but they do hold order so there's nothing really to complain about.
