Kishimoto's interview at Jump Festa 2011

Kishiwas bantered by Takeuchi-san (the voice actress for Naruto) about the comment at the last Jump Festa that ]Kakashi would be most active.

So he apologized that he couldn't bring it as he planed and stated upcoming year(2011), Kakashi will play a remarkable part for real

He'll write Shikamaru and Chouji's valour episode as well

No updates on Naruto, Sasuke or Sakura
(The Kakashi Part):
Kishi: Although I talked of Kakashi last year im ending up passing the year (carrying it over). Sorry about that. Im planning alot this time.

and I am a big fan of Morikubo-san. He does Shikamaru(voice) and his voice suits. Shikamaru will be more active.
The voice for Shikamaru: Serious? Thank you!

Naruto's voice actress: it's a nice stage where your dream's come true.

Kishi: I think it will be with Chouji. Please look after Shikamaru in the upsoming year as alway's

Nothing new really. No info about the future of Naruto and Sasuke!

really shikamaru again!!!! why not develop some other ninja like the neji lee or tenten. the came in naruto as team pwn all and are now rivaling fodder.

Ya Kakashi is gonna get more action!!! By the sounds of it. And I think Choji needs appearances and Shikamaru is still already developed a lot by the looks of it. But we shall see what kishi comes up with.

doesn't kishimoto just lie a ton in these things. Well maybe lies the wrong word, but his answers always end up being skewed from what actually happens.

possibly yeah i guess, i wish kishimoto would talk more about the hyuga lan, i mean they havent had such a big role for sometime and kishimoto was making hiashi and hizashi's fight really interesting but went straight to some other random fight with the siblings... you know ummm what there names i guess....

I don't think it's lying but more of getting behind schedule.
Kishi was going to have a Kakashi year but he probably felt like there was other stuff in the manga that needed to be taken care of first.

ino or the hyuga clan or anyone besides shikamaru, naruto, kakashi, and sasuke, they need to chill out those characters.... someone who hasnt had a bright light for once, like tenten or hanabi or anyoneeee

Hopefully he'll focus on anyone but those two

those two need a background told and stuff too you know, thats why people are being highly rude to those characters because they dont got a background story for them..... so kishimoto should focus on a character that has rarely had spotlight r.r

Or maybe it's just because they're two of the lamest, most unimportant and irrelevant characters in the series. No one wants any back round on those characters, it would slow the story down to the point that no one would read it.

^oh i thought you were talking about sakura & karin.

plus thats like saying most of the rookies are irrelevant to the plot since they don't have "dramatic backstories". but come on, shikamaru is freakin badass, plus if he's irrelevant then why is he the first genin to reach "chunin" compared to the other rookies?
