The hidden leaf obviously would be destroyed becuase naruto was the only one who had the ultimate power to stop him. If naruto wanted he could destroy the leaf

Then Naruto's perception on life would have been different. He wouldn't be able to understand what it's like for other Jinchuriki's and wouldn't have made a close friend.
His skills would be considerably lower. He really proved himself in that battle.
