HST Chapter of the Week 4

Yes, it's that time of the week again. Naruto's held the lead for the past 3 polls, but will Bleach or One Piece take the lead?

Last week's results:
1. Naruto 525 "The Kages Revived!" - 12 Votes
2. Bleach 434 "Berry in the Box" & One Piece 611 "Brought by the Shark They Saved" - 1 Vote Each
4. 3-Way Tie - 0 Votes

One Piece this week. Finally things have sped up.

Naruto was pretty boring this week and Bleach was stupid with Riruka taking 7 pages to explain nothing.

Ehh, I read the Bleach chapter even though I don't follow the series. It struck me as lame, but I liked the new Naruto chapter even though it is only ramping up to some good fights.

I liked teh one piece chapter the most things are getting intresting i also like van deckens power.

Although I like Naruto more than One Piece in general, I have to admit it was likely the best this week. Naruto had good character development, but it was small per-character (with the slight exception of Onoki), and Bleach had large character development but it was singularly focused on Riruka. In terms of action, Naruto was easily best, with One Piece following second and Bleach stuck in last. However, One Piece had the best plot development.

I thought the same thing.

I disagree here. Naruto gave Darui more screentime (which I was actually hoping for) and we got to see a new type of lightning technique introduced from Darui, as well as Black Zetsu's enigmatic statement "I am the land itself" and Onoki's small but quite important character development. As for Bleach, Riruka's explanation was somewhat pointless, but it was great for showing what type of character Riruka is.

I didn't really think any of the chapters this week were bad.

Naruto was bad because Kishi messed up Tenten's ultimate rare screentime by making her useless yet again.

I mean can't the poor girl learn some ninjutsu? Even katon gokakyuu no jutsu is better than what she showed.

And Riruka is a bland Tsundere character, which makes her automatically fail.

Tsundere? I'm not familiar with the term.

I'm going with a tie this week. I really can't pick one of them that I liked most. Bleach was funny, Darui's black lightning was cool, and bad guy teamup in OP is sweet.

Not really. These threads remain valid until the next time all three chapters come out. And besides that, Naruto and OP are tied in the poll. The next vote should decide which was the best chapter that week.
