What if Minato and Kushina were still alive?
what if Minato and Kushina were stil alive? what do you think, would it change the orginial plot or would it stay unchanged?

They would not be dead.
I disagree with the person above me. I believe if Minato were still alive Naruto would still have the fox but have better contol over it because his father would have been there to train him all his life.

basically,the whole damn anime would be without a story,because if they were alive then that means the 9-tails didn't attack,which means naruto wouldn't be a jincjuriki. also,madara never existed which means: 1.uchiha never existed either,which means no sasuke
 2.no akatsuki,which means all the other jinchurikies wouldn't die also,people wouldn't hate naruto as much as they did,which means that he wouldn't want them to acknowledge him,which means that he wouldn't dream of being hokage see how that changes EVERYTHING

You make it sound as if the Fourth and his wife dying created the entire universe... it may not be exactly the same, but Im sure a similar universe would exist even if they lived... According to you, them dieing created Madara, the tailed beasts, the Uchiha clan and Akatsuki... when in fact three of those four were in place before either character were even born and #4 could still be created in some form or another regardless of Madara's puppet stringing things |

well naruto wouldn't have had to go through the hell that he went through as a kid.but His dad would have trained him to control the fox better.It wouldn't be as intresting

It would change a lot of things based on how they were alive; whether they died and were ressurected or whether they never died.
Besides that, chances are either way Naruto wouldn't be as strong of a person. The only reason he chose to push himself so far was to win the respect of the villagers who so frequently ridiculed him for a crime he never committed or even knew about.  I've now just proven how much of a geek I am.

Then most likely Minato would have ended up defeating Madara, then would have probably sealed the Kyuubi inside of Naruto still, but he most likely wouldn't dream of becoming Hokage and wouldn't have grown up being hated so he wouldn't be able to relate to Gaara which means the Leaf and Sand would still be enemies, there would also be no Akatsuki because it was created by Madara, no Madara=no Akatsuki. Also if Pain were still there, he might have created a group to get the Tailed Beasts to execute his plan for Peace, but if Minato was still alive, he'd defeat Pain in a heartbeat assuming Naruto was still trained by Jiraiya, and Jiraiya presumably still died, so Naruto would have learned Sage Mode, so their combined forces would beat Pain easily. Also Naruto probably wouldn't attract the attention of Hinata and wouldn't have caused a change of heart for Neji. He also wouldn't have made such a close bond with Sasuke, either that or Naruto woulda been stronger than he is in the actual Manga, so he probably wouldn't have even been on the same squad as Sasuke. Also Naruto wouldn't have ended up learning Shadow Clones because he only learned it because Mizuki told him about the scroll to lure him out to the wilderness to try to kill him. Also when Orochimaru attacked during the Chuunin Exams, Minato would have easily beat him to, so Sandaime wouldn't of died, and Sasuke wouldn't have been lured by Orochimaru to seek power from him. So yeah...everything would change, but we can assume Naruto would be much stronger, but would have less inspiration and would have a completely different personality.

naruto would have been a sage at 12 possibly no uchiha massacre? since yodaime is a nice person. naruto might not work as hard but woudnt be a total loser. minato would have perfected his rasengan along with space time naruto possibly could have learend space time. kushina could teach him how to seal anything. kushina would be hot |

If Minato and Kushina were still alive to raise Naruto, I don't think that he would be the character that he is, considering that he became as he did from being alone, misbehaving than turning that into self-belief... with the fox, most likely he wouldn't have it, it might have stayed within it's previous host, unfortunately though, the seal was weakening on it's previous host, so... it might even be running free and causing destruction... So really if it weren't for his parents dying, there would be no peace, in the Village...

I think a better question for this thread would have been what if Madara's plans to kidnap Kushina failed? Anyway this is what I think the story would be like.
1.Naruto would probably still have had the nine tails sealed in him. 2.Would be 10x smarter and intelligent than the idiot he is now. 3.With Minato's training he may have been able to control the 9 tails by age 13 and be a sage(like someone said above). Probably be Jonin at this age. 4. Both Naruto and Minato would have completed the Rasengan. 5. Uchiha clan may still be around and the coup deat would have taken place. 6. Sasuke & Itachi would still be in hidden leaf. |
