Member of the Month Rule Thread

Welcome to the Member of the Month(MotM) rule thread. This thread will provide you the rules and requirements to make a nomination.

Nomination Submission Rules and Requirements:

Nominee must have at least 50 posts.
Nominee cannot have won in the month prior.
Nominee cannot have negative reputation.
1 Nomination per month; Cannot nominate multiple times or multiple people
Names must be typed out fully. (No acronyms, no nicknames, etc.)
Cannot nominate yourself or your alt
Must submit nominee using only the form.
Do not campaign for votes via VM, PM, or otherwise.

*Not following this can get nominee submissions discarded*

The New Nomination and Voting Process:

Moderators will nominate users from their sections that they feel should win MotM. Nominations can not be made for active staff members.
Committee members(made up primarily of non-staff members) will do the voting and debating for who is most worthy of winning MotM.
Nominee's will be posted posted on the 25th of each month and voting will take place via a public poll to determine a 2nd place winner.
In the event that the MotM chosen by the committee and the MotM voted by the public are the same, the winner of the public vote will be the runner up in the poll.
The MotM Runner-Up will be chosen by Dice roll if there is a tie on the public poll.
The months winners will be announced as late as the first of the month.

The MotM Winner will receive:

A banner at the top of the forum outlining certain parts of their profile.
Gold Star MotM badge.(alternate badges can be submitted but must be provided)
Colored username.
Custom avatar.
Ability to see who is invisible.
Ability to see who repped you.
Ability to change your custom title.
30 Rep

The MotM Runner-Up will receive:

Silver Star MotM badge.
Ability to see who is invisible.
Ability to see who repped you.
Ability to change your custom title.
20 Rep

not really. That's why they ask for a good reason and a link to some posts. They won't just choose somebody because of their looks or because they have many friends on here. I'm sure they will try to make this as fair as possible.

You can start nominating now. That has yet to be decided.
