Is The Kakashi Chronicles stopping Naruto Shippuden?

Ok this is really bugging me and I really want to know,
Is The Kakashi Chronicles stopping Naruto Shippuden?
I am like a super Naruto fan and when I seen the kakashi chronicles thing i didn't know what was happening.... So I looked it up on some forums and people said that it'll be a OVA or 2-3 episode and then I heard that it'll be a new anime!! So please I NEED to know if it's gonna stop Naruto.

It is not a new anime. It's going to pause Shippuuden and go back in time so we can watch 3 to 4 episodes about Kakashi's past, then we'll come back to present time. I read the manga so I know about it. ^_^

I don't think it will, in the manga volume 27, it has the kakashi chronicles and it only lasted 3 chapters........so I think it'll only last 3 episodes........

It most pobably will not stop shippuden, otherwise we'd have to start a whole new bunch of threads petitioning to bring shippuden back, when we already have dozens for the english dub to come out.

Kakashi Chronicles
is a one-hour special about Kakashi Hatake,
The anime will still run,
this is just a side thing.
It explains, how kakashi got his sharingan,
and also will show the Fourth Hokage,
