they were good people, i don't get why alot of people hate them.

I like Nagato alot more then Madara, Nagato is a very complex character. Madara is just a typical villian (i mean cmon, he's totally doesn't give a crap, there's nothing unique about it).

Nagato was complex, but he served the purpose he needed to. To say Madara is a typical villain isn't right because a couple hundred chapters after we're shown we're still trying to figure out if the guy's even who he says he is. There are so many mysteries surrounding Madara. It turns out he had a hand in just about every significant event in the series. I think he's a good final villain.

I really liked Nagato/Pain, in a lot of ways, I think that he would have been an asset to Naruto if he survived. Konan started off pretty cold but warmed up towards the end, so she's ok. Yahiko wass sadly cut short and should have been around longer, he seemed really interesting and genuine. It would have been nice if he had stayed.
