Actually that is a misconception. Jack's victims were not cut into pieces but instead ripped open. Well cut open, but the fact still stands that they were not cut into different pieces. His signature was a slashed throat and abdominal mutilation, with his victims getting more and more ripped open as the murders progressed.

Coincidentally, his name is Sebastian. At least that is what the Vorlons call him.

The Knight Theory:

After that Kelly,Nichols,Stride and Chapman decided to Blackmail Albert.

Salisbury found out and turned to Gull again who hired John Netley and Robert Anderson who made up Jack the Ripper and tried to blame Druitt.
The Murders were supposed to silence the Blackmailers.
The victim Eddowes is known to have went by the name of Mary Kelly as well.

It's one of the most believed Theories.

Joseph Barnett:

One of the Main Suspects as he fits into Witness Descriptions.
Was a known Fisher thus adept at using Knives.
Was in love with Mary Kelly.
Theory:
Wanted to scare her off Prostitution.
Killed her as well when she didn't return his love.
Fits into how Kelly was murdered which could only indicate strong rage.

Fits into the FBI Profile of the Ripper.
FBI Profile:
White Male aged 28-36 living or working in the Whitechapel area.

Barnett:
30 y old white and lived within a Mile of Whitechapel.

FBI:
In Childhood there was an absent or passive father figure.
Barnett:
Joseph's Father died when he was 6.

FBI:
Killer had an Occupation where he could legally experience his tendencies.
Barnett:
Fisher thus adept in boning and gutting Fish.

FBI:
Jack ceased his killings because he was either arrested for some other Crime or felt close of being discovered.
Barnett:
Interviewed for 4 Hours.

FBI:
Killer had a physical defect which caused frustration or anger.
Barnett:
Echolalia.

The real one was a Cerial Killer in Great Britain.

The real Jack The Ripper is a psychotic Great Britain man who kills prostitutes. Basically, he would mutilate them, then leave them on the street to rot. He's done numerous of killings, and has never been caught. Infact, if you watched the movie, that stars Johnny Depp, "From Hell" it basically describes Jack The Ripper and his motives.
