The story is set in an underground world, cut off from the outside world after the planet was harshly damaged by the abuse of the human race. The governing body of this underground world controls everything through the Chikayo Rangers, who act as police in the sub-terrainian world. The highest powers are the generals, who decide the worlds laws.

The large, genetic and bio modification company known as Biokasei create beings known as Kaijuu, these Kaijuu are supposed to assist the human race in various ways, but the experimants often fail, resulting in bloodlusting creatures that are set loose in the undergrounds uninhabited areas, however these began appearing in living areas as well.

The chapters are quite short, I prefer to do alot of shorter chapters than a small amount of longer ones.

Prologue

Nearly one thousand years ago the human race lived above the ground in buildings under the sun and the sky. Then after many years of abusing the earth with pollutants from their factories and vehicles and a massive nuclear war that had proven to be the trigger of the environments destruction, the sky became dark and poisonous, rivers and streams ran black with the poisons of decades. Seeing the world collapse around them the human race built an underground world in which to live hidden away from the topside world. This decision was made in order to give the planet time to recover from the years and years of abuse at the hands of the human race.

A new society was created and humans were rated at birth to their abilities. This rating was called their Power Ranking those with a higher numbered Power Ranking where considered to be the elite among the humans and those who had lower numbered Power Rankings where the lower class.

The new home of the humans was called Chikayo and was policed by the Chikayo Rangers who did missions for other companies within the underground world. This could range from guarding a valuable item to fighting off Kaijuu.

The biggest, most powerful company in this underground world was called Biokasei who performed experiments on all different kinds of genes to create creatures called Kaijuu. They were supposed to be to help the humans and to make their lives easier and simpler but most of these experiments didn't work out, and the resulting creatures were set loose in the abandoned areas of the underground world where they bred and multiplied quickly soon becoming a problem when they began to appear in the living areas. The rangers became more relied upon to deal with these threats.

One year Biokasei went too far and inadvertently created a dragon type Kaijuu that could link with humans granting them great powers. Two dragons where captured and contained named matsuro and Zim. These dragons were then put into a deep sleep in order to protect the world from their powers. The people that linked with the dragon Kaijuu could threaten the stability of the new world order. These people, called chosens where supposedly extinct after the high level rangers, the generals, wiped them out to avert the dragon’s powers from being released.

A group of people who disagreed with the new government’s policies and laws broke away from the new society and established themselves as a separate organization this group of people named themselves Hizoku. All known Hizoku members were then labeled criminals and are hated and feared as dangerous criminals who threaten the stability of the new world order.

Slowly, people forgot about the topside world, and things like the mountains and the sky became nothing but myths, things of legend.

It doesn't matter, to me honestly, though, I wasn't minding the one Nicknamed Crimson, I like that colour, to be honest, I have a lot of red and/or crimson around me.

Also, can be rather firm.

Name- Maikeru (Maikeru Shinigami) Age- 18 Role- Main Supporting Gender- Male Bio- Rasens' mission partner within the Chikayo, has a very elitist attitude and aspires to be a top ranking Chikayo ranger, something that is achieveable due to his high power ranking. Appearance- Blonde hair, elite grunt outfit and a rapier, often wears an almost mocking smirk. Name- Kiseki (Kiseki) Age- 25 Role- Supporting Gender- Female Bio- The captain of the Chikayo rangers, has the nickname 'crimson' after her signature attack, "Crimson Death", is a strict leader and has a tough attitude. Appearance- Has short purple hair and a black leather outfit, narrow almost angry eyes. Name- Demon (Demonfire_Ninja) Age- 34 Role- Supporting Gender- Male Bio- The leader of the government opposing group Hizoku. Is a stern but fair man, is one of the only known men to possess the highest possible power ranking. Appearance- Wears a white full-body outfit, has light orange hair and dark brown eyes. Name- SilentShino (SilentShino) Age- Unknown Role- Main Supporting Gender- Male Bio- A hugely powerful individual whose powers are largely unknown, was previously linked to matsuro and seems to have retained some of his power. Appearance- Wears an eye patch over his empty eye socket and old, worn looking battle armour, has short white hair. Name- Lolohwd (Lolohwd) Age- 22 Role- Supporting Gender- Male Bio- One of the generals, the second youngest. Seems to have some powers of perseption, even future sight, can sense others aura and intent. Is open to new ideas about the government laws. Appearance- Has a slightly feminine look, carries a staff-like weapon. Has big round eyes and longish hair, is older than he appears. Name- Destruction (RedemptionOfDestruction) Age- 40 Role- Supporting Gender- Male Bio- The father of Maikeru, is one of the oldest and most experienced members of the generals, has high hopes that his son will join him on the general council. Appearance- A red full-body combat suit and a large sword. Wears an eye patch, it's unknown if it is needed or he wears it by choice. Name- Undead (UnDeAd Hikari) Age- 25 Role- Supporting Gender- Female Bio- The lone female member of the generals, has clearer vision of the future than Lolohwd, believes that power rankings should be used to determine everything, has some magical powers. Appearance- Wears a dress and has black hair. Name- George (george hyuga) Age- 21 Role- Supporting Gender- Male Bio- The youngest member of the generals, uses steel claws in battle and fights viciously, like a wild animal. Is opposed to power rankings being used to decide everything. Appearance- Red hair and steel claws on his right arm, wears a black jacket and pants and piercing eyes. Name- Sagemaster (Sagemaster777) Age- Unknown Role- Minor Gender- Male Bio- An assasin hired to kill Rasen and his group, has strange powers.
