Well, the man materially aided the commission of future genocide, if things go poorly in North Korea. He deserved more than 3 years.

But there's no real way you can say he wanted to commit genocide by any means, for all we know we got stuff in back, but that's all. I don't think are politicians would be that crazy to want a genocide, unless it were Isreal. After all, what would they possibly want with South Korea?

I'm talking about AQ Khan, not Zardari, and it doesn't make it better if it's Israel -- nor does it make any sense, since any genocide in Israel would necessarily destroy Islamic holy cites as well as decimate local Palestinian populations. Just how big do you think Israel is? Any nuclear detonation there is little better than destroying that country, not to mention spark a war with the US. And believe me, if we find out a nation has assaulted an ally with nuclear weapons, that nation will cease existing, because if we don't destroy them in kind, our own nuclear deterrence policy will be called into question, and we can't allow that. And if you aide a brutal dictator's obsession with weapons of mass destruction, you have probably lent material aide to genocide.

I....was talking about AQ.....anyway, the passionate hate towards Isreal in the middle east is very, VERY (stupidly) high, I wouldn't be surprised if someone drops an H there

So, what happens when that country aims at the US eh......exactly, so hopefully threat still keeps all and everything in control, if not, definitely WWIII, except there's the part where WWIII would last only a month......

Chances are that it won't happen, but it can more than any other bombing anywhere

Oh, sorry. I thought it was understood that he did it either for money or because he resented American hegemony. Either excuse is a lame reason to endanger millions of lives, but he's a douchebag so it's expected. If you think he aided your nation's survival quotient, you'd be wrong. The chances of India launching against Pakistan, unless they are in a national survival situation, is unlikely. I seriously doubt they would do it over Kashmir alone. In fact, they were more concerned about China than Pakistan in the context of nukes. But the chance that a nuclear exchange could occur is greater than a one-sided launch. He helped make your region a much more dangerous and unstable place.

I've got to argue we'd be in even more threat without the Nuke on a National standpoint. India is less a problem than the western world for us, and without Nukes, somebody would proclaim "This is the harboring place of all terrorists" as they do say that and attack the north. If it wasn't for nukes, we'd be at war with SOMEONE in the western world because they claim the government holds terrorists, if I know my governmental douchebags well enough. However, internally, yes, it has added to the instability a lot. Once again though, nobody is sure what we got in return, because nobody of the government seemed to have gotten any richer when this happened, so it's still another mystery, another secret. On the other hand, maybe they WERE thinking for the country, and whatever they got helps the country, but I'm not too sure that would actually be so.

Actually, your armed forces, combined with your geography, aren't something we would decide to contend with, when our objective was the Taliban in Afghanistan. We would have made the deal we made with Musharef in any case. And we are prosecuting a not-so proxy war within your borders right now, so your purpose in acquiring nukes has already failed. Why do you think we invest so much in predator drones and special forces? So I don't see much difference, except now you are in a nuclear exchange situation with India, and you could end up ending your country because your nukes may not be secured properly. I don't trust the situation, and neither should you considering who is leading your nation.

I hate the damned things.* We could have won WWII without them, possibly even without invading Japan at massive loss to American lives. Although it wasn't a forgone conclusion at the time, and if we hadn't done it, eventually some nation would have, and that would have been even worse, imo.

*Actually, my mind is divided on the subject, as I think mushroom clouds are cool. I just don't like the consequence, of course.

Who doesn't like an explosion of radiation and death that spans several decos of kilometers :P. Someone would've figured out this technology eventually because of science. I love science, but it's used for so much bad towards the world than good sometimes it seems.
