Kabuto's Goal?

What excactly does Kabuto want?

1) Sasuke

2) What else?

It's pretty obvious that Kabuto is after more then Sasuke's body. If he really wanted to take Sasuke, he could have done so WITHOUT joining forces with Madara. If you think about it, Kabuto has almost unlimited amount of allies if given prep. Also keep in mind that Kabuto joined forces with Madara before Madara got Nagato's eyes. (before being more powerful)

- Orochimaru knew about Madara. Madara said so himself. Does this have a connection?

- Kabuto's venom. Is he planning to use it against Madara?

- Is Orochimaru truly gone? Will Kabuto turn into Orochimaru?

- What is Kabuto's true intention? What does he have to gain by joining Madara?

Kabuto wants Sasuke body and yes he is turning into Orochimaru so lets refer to him as Orochimaru x)
Orochimaru wanted to kill all the akatsuki members because they were also after him for leaving the organization and its obvious he will try to kill Madara and Zetsu
What does he gain for joining Madara?
He is coming close to Madara for a couple of reasons:
- Protection during this war.
- Sasuke's body
- And by getting so close to him he will be able to "backstab" him and end all his problems.

The final goal for Orochimaru was to have all the jutsus and so he made all those experiments etc..

He wants to find his identity and that means to surpass orochimaru, that's his goal

I wonder if that's all to it. I kinda get what SG means. Kishimoto did make it obvious that Kabuto wanted to back stab Madara. After all, Kabuto led Anko and the others to Madara's hideout.

Yet he is also helping Madara by aiding him with the Edo Tensei's.

Yes that's true but remember the zombies are controlled by Kabuto not Madara. At any time Kabuto and the zombies could turn Madara.

Kabuto is an oppertunist, he wants Sauske's body, which will then lead him to want the completed 10 tails (or those they have already) since with his body he will have am EMS, which will likely give him the ability TO control the tailed beasts.

He may also want Nagato's Rinnegan, I am not certain, though to be honest if he can control the tailed beasts, I don't think he will care all that much. Perhaps he will also want Madras ability as well, which wouldn't surprise me for him getting so close to Madara.

Like I've said in previous posts, I think the war will be pretty epic, but I don't believe it will last as long as people believe. In my opinion, when the most oppertune time comes along for Kabuto to turn on Madara it will happen to end the war.

Kabuto is after Sasuke and he knows Madara is only using Sasuke for his own goals. He knows when Madara doesn't need Sasuke anymore he won't care weather he lives or dies

And Kabuto also has whatever Madara is afraid of so he can't do too much. I'll say Madara sees Kabuto as an equal but at the same time hates him. He can't do anything to him yet even though there is a huge difference in their powers

So ultimately Kabuto just wants Sasuke dead and he knows he needs Madara to get closer to him. That's what I think

there is a chance that orochimaru might be controlling Kabuto's actions. Because when he was in front of Naruto, Yamato and Hinata he said he was trying his hardest not to get taken over by orochimaru's chakra and at that time it was only 1/3 of it

Of course Kabuto wants Sasuke's body, but I feel that more importantly he aims to further orochimaru's legacy, and join forces with madara for all the opportunities that may propose, as well as gain knowledge on all the things he may not have known before. he has a knack for absorbing everyone else's knowledge and data. he did that with orochimaru and now madara.

Madara isn't waiting to stab Kabuto in the back. He's just keeping his guard up.
Also I never said Kabuto would succeed. Just what his plans are.

Like i said, I am not so sure. Madara will be somthing else to deal with by Kabuto, but considering the knowledge he has now, I just have be suspicious that Kabuto's goal (while being Sauske's body..ya that sounds creepy) is to take Madara's ability.

I mean really think about what Madara is trying to do..he wants to become a god, more or less the incarnation of a "dark" sage of six paths...now Sauske's body would go along with this however he would need Madara's power and the ability to seal the tailed beasts. Which all makes sense I suppose.

Maybe Kabuto and Madara ultimately have the same goal. Kabuto also wants the power of the Rikudo Sennin. He waiting for the war to weaken madara enough so he can paralize his him(or at least his jutsu) similar to the way he did Yamato. He already has Hashirama dna, he just needs Madara dna to so he can work his way back to their great great great great great great grandfather Rikudo Sennin. Just a hunch
