Try beating opponents on Average difficulty in free battle, get up to a winning streak of 20 (straight with no losses) then move it up to hard difficulty, do the same thing, then move up to very hard, and then try to get as big a streak as you can go, then rinse and repeat. By the end Average should be ezsauce, hard should be ezsauce too, and Very Hard should be a small challenge.

If your asking for tips for online then try playing a lot of super hard difficulty free battle first, unless you get use to playing at a fast past you will have a hard time winning against stronger people.

If your asking for free battle tips start on a low difficulty then slowly move up after a short time and as you get better.

With both online and free battle you should try and find a character or two and a team or two that you are good with.

I'm glad I'm managing a 50-50 win/loss ratio considering that when I play online, it has about 2 second lag >.<
