Default Support Types (Attack, Balance, etc)

I know they each do something special when the gauge is full.

All I know is attack will attack with you during combos.

What do the other 2 do exactly?

Default Re: Support Types (Attack, Balance, etc)

attack will join you in combos and if you knock the opponent back with a powerful blow they will appear from behind and strike them back in your direction (think UNS1 when you pressed the button for support to hit, except automatically). this lets you start a whole new combo or strike them again and is really useful if you use it right.

guard will jump in front of your character to block while you recharge chakra, so you can't be interrupted by projectiles when you charge. they also jump in automatically to guard sometimes you like when you've been knocked into the air or on the ground and the opponent charges forward to try to land another strike.

balance will jump in to throw projectiles if you used a chakra-loaded projectile throw. and they will sometimes jump in to save you from being hit by an ultimate jutsu, taking it themself. i don't think they do anything other than that, but the ultimate jutsu substition can really come in handy if you get caught off guard.
