I doubt they want to antagonize Jugo at this point. Seeing the neglection of characters that were once quite major, such as Sakura, I doubt they'll be doing much more with Gaara, let alone Jugo.

Jugo maybe strong, though I think with that match-up, Gaara is most likely to come out on top, considering Jugo can't completely control himself, Gaara can, so Gaara has the advantage with control, he also has the experience, to deal with Curse-Mark Power, considering he fought Sasuke, way back after the Chunin Exams in the ring. Gaara was able to handle himself well against Sasuke's Curse-Mark, Sasuke's was a controlled Curse-Mark, Jugo has no control.
