If you haven't noticed, lately, CN has been dropping Anime left and right. It's not that they are Anime haters, it's just that they want to move into the Reality TV section. Just like there are different sections of the Forum, there are different sections of TV, there are other Anime channels. You just have to look.
Now, why it was cancelled is completely beyond me. It could have been a number of reasons. My guess is just bad ratings, but Naruto is on Disney XD now, and although the editing is rough, we still get to see the Anime. That's the bottom line.
