A war was raged between the gods. They split into sides. The Mantel are the gods fighting to let humans take part in the choices of the gods and The Halo, who fight for gods being the rulers of all. When the war started 3 babies were sent to earth away from the center of the battle. One being Devroux, who we will be following on his journey. The others will be introduced as the story progresses.

On the night man was created a fight broke out in the great hall of Mount Morinth. One side, The Mantel, argued that man should be allowed to participate in what happened on Mount Morinth. The other side, The Halo, thought that man should be kept in the dark when it came to any decision making.

Tempers rose and voices grew louder. Odachi, the King of Mount Morinth, finally put his foot down. Slamming his great fist onto the table he created a large crack in the table along with a loud noise that rang through the great hall quieting all the fighting. His brother, Rasilo, sat beside him.
"My wife is giving birth tonight and I will not have this on my mountain," said Odachi, his voice loud and firm.
"As is mine brother," chimed in Rasilo. "But this can be easily solved by just telling them the humans won't be a part of our great system."
"Brother. Close your lips. You speak nonsense. The humans will be allowed on Mount Morinth and that is final."
"But brother. We gave them sin. Why would we let sin on our pure mountain?"
With this the fighting arose again. Later that night the fighting had begun. The gods, with their mighty powers, shook the heavens they ruled.
Odachi and Rasilo kept their tempers in control while their wives gave birth in the same room at the same time. It was a very special occasion. Usually only 1 baby was born in a millenia but tonight 3 babies, 1 from the wife of Rasilo and 2 from the wife of Odachi, were to be born at the same time. When the babies were born they were immediately sent to earth in a bolt of lightning to keep them away from the war.

With the babies safely sent to earth Odachi and Rasilo let their arguing commence starting the greatest war man will ever see.

Chapter 1:

The sun was just barely peeking over the horizon when Devroux awoke on the morning of his birthday. He couldn't remember how old he was anymore for he looked the same as he did when he was 17. Several thousand years ago from his count.
Time was almost at a stand still when it came to Devroux. He noticed everything age around him but his body never aged a day. Through the ages cities grew and the population of humans grew. But as everything grew around him so did the destruction. Ever since he could remember Devroux has known there to be war between the gods. From the same point he has also fought against the fighting. Not for either side but just because he wanted the excitement of war.
Devroux sat up in his makeshift bed. He never had a home so he was always moving around. On this morning he awoke amidst ruins. Scorched rocks and ever dampened earth littered the site. Devroux picked up his sword, which he has had since he started fighting, and placed it on his back.
It was a special sword. Nearly 3 feet in length it was perfectly straight until it got to the hilt. The hilt was less than a foot in length and curved at the end. Along the rest of the sword the only interruption of the smoothness on the blade were two blood red diamond cylinders which matched the color of his eyes. His sword fit perfectly in a black, metal sheath. The sheath had long opening on the side so the diamonds could slide in without hindering the rest of the sword.
Having done this he set off eastward in search of the latest warzone. He had heard rumors around the last few cities he had passed through and decided he wanted to check it out.

I have the story set up I'm just trying to put it into words. I'm actually going to put it on here and then edit it to see if I can get it published.

It's still really cool that you can speak 2 languages even if you sometimes use a translator. It's like a thesaurus...

My attempt at a compliment... What other languages do you know? 2 is a lot already...

I would like to learn japanese because it'd be cool to go to Japan once in my life. Arabic and Russian. Those are the ones I'm most willing to learn.
