I join too! I've been the NaruHina fan since episode 1 of Naruto Part I!! plus i've converted 3 Stringent NaruSaku fans to become NaruHina fans!

You know.. the latest discussion has been going on, on all forums of Naruto is about what Kushina said to Naruto.

But the reasons that I gave in to counter it was.. Kushina was the fiery, impulsive, not-studying, playing pranks type but who did she fell in love with (who did she choose for herself) Minato who was the exact opposite (there are some similarites I'll discuss later) of Kushina. Unlike Kushina, Minato was calm and cool, reserved and calculating. Since Naruto is like Kushina (as jiraiya said himself) so Hinata obviously suits him (as she is like Minato)! plus 'Opposites attract too" as the saying goes... Kushina obviously didn't expect Naruto to take after her because boys are generally thought to take after their fathers ('like father like son' saying) so she probably said that line because of this general though!

Okay, so now for similarities, some people (NaruSaku fans) argue that Hinata is like Naruto (in counter of 'opposites attract' argument), but they don't realize that the pairing is neer completely opposite. There are some similarites that help them understand eachother and some differences that fill in the missing traits of the other person thus making a pairing in the first place! So the similarity between Minato and Kushina was that they never gave up and were confident in their own ways! well! well! well! ... striking a resemblance with somebody?! I think yes, but co-incidence?... I think not...!
Hinata and Naruto share the same trait too plus extra that they both have been through lonliness and rejection. These similarities help them to understand eachother... plus Hinata's the only one infront of whom Naruto doesn't showoff and comes to his real self. See when she's around, he feels comfortable to show his 'sensitive' side! Those things he never shared with anyone.. not even Sakura!

Another things is what is generally argued is that, NaruHina have a lot less moments. But those guys actually fail to realise that Quality is indeed better than Quantity. Despite having low number of moments, all of the viewers would have realised that the those moments actually lift the environment in the story. They contain such emotional impact that it creates some 'sparks' as one must say around the characters. Though some scenes have been added for comic relief like when Naruto come after 2 and a half years and meets Team 8, but even that contains some 'sparks' as I say it.

So the pairing of Naruto - Hinata is actually very deep and is filled with strong insights, they understand eachother, let their 'real' thoughts surface (Hinata was a bit late at this one though...) so this is why NaruHina pairing should happen. What saddens me the most is some people are not able to see these deep insights but hopefully now they should...

Honestly, try this sometimes, every time you view Naruto anime or Manga, or any other movie, cartoon, or shojo Anime/Manga, this 'Sparks' thingy really actually tells you the emotional impact of a moment!
and yes Masashi should stop giving NaruSaku useless hints, it annoys me the most! what Naruto had on Sakura in Naruto Part I was probably and most likely a 'childish crush' and Masashi should show that Naruto actually has come over it! because seriously NaruSaku seems to end up in a Divorce with Sakura eventually putting Naruto in a coma or some memory loss syndrome with all the punching in his head!

Also... most fangirls have the NaruHina, SasuSaku opinion as for me too! but I want the opinion of fanboys on this one, because generally Shonen Mangas are meant for boys and majorly read by them too!

I actually feel bad for Hinata earlier, poor girl as a kid if ever she would have talked to Naruto, he wouldn't have developed any kind of liking towards Sakura...

Yes I agree. And now that you mention it Naruto and Hinata does seem the same as Kushina and Minato which is one of the reasons why they are perfect for eachother. Oh even if Sakura doesn't end up with Sasuke she could end up with Rock Lee. But I many NaruSaku fans don't seem think about that at all. And mabey Naruto does actually love Hinata now but he just hasn't shown it yet. And im sure later on he will finally talk to Hinata hopefully before the next great ninja war starts.

It'll be so sweet and cute for Naruto to be in the hospital with Hinata ready to give birth. Bet he'd be close to her throughout the painful process. I don't know if Hinata would be happy to give birth to a boy, a girl, or both.

Im sure Neji will since hes her cousin. And mabey Kiba and Shino would be there too since they seem to be good friends. And im sure Sakura would be there since not only are they friend but shes also a medical ninja as well. And mabey Rock Lee would be there too. Im not sure if anyone else would.

What about Hiashi? He criticized her during her childhood because of high expectations, and I hope he'll go to see Hinata? As for Hanabi, I don't know if she'll come.

Im not sure. I know he thought Hinata was worthless and since she wasn't as good as her sister. But she has gotten really strong since then. So mabey he differently of her now. Not since we haven't seen him much since shippuden started. As for Hinabi mabey she'll come.

Of course, Hinata and Naruto would have no problems taking care of their baby. Naruto doesn't understand what Hinata would ask him, but he must. As for Hinata, I wonder what she'll say to Naruto on the baby.
